Very nice video. I have a stock seat and risers. I still want my bars further back. Would getting a custom seat 'undo' the gain from these bars, if the risers are already not far enough back?
Hi Danny First generation GL 1800 saddle was a pretty decent stock seat but I really disliked the stock seat on the new Wing. I love my Corbin seat which is plug and play with the stock heat controls. Sitting back a few inches uses up some of the benefits of our handlebar risers but their riding position is still better than stock. Our SST adjustable bars are by far the best comfort and performance solution available! You decide what most comfortable for you, priceless!!
Hello Sir from South Africa 🇿🇦. I am considering ordering a set of the SST from wingstuff. Just a quick question.....I notice cabling being zip tied, is this how it will look after the installation? will the handlebars not look standard? like how the cabling looked, tucked under that plastic cover before installation? thank you.
Hello Zunaig, In order to improve comfort and handling performance we needed a lot of extra slack in all hydraulic lines and wire looms. It was not possible to re-cover the lines and have them fit the console. It is possible to make them look clean when laid out properly. The up side is considerable when comparing the stock bars to the SSTs personalized comfort and handling advantages.
