You are brilliant! This is such a helpful and amazing tool! Thank you so much for taking the time to create the executable version and for releasing your work to us for use.
Thanks you so much Oscar! Was following your July install video where all the packages had to be downloaded separately. This one is much easier. It wasn't mentioned in the video but do I still need to download Python? If so, 2.7 or 3.6 version?
No you don't, even if you have multiple versions on your computer only the one included with (a minimal one with just the required modules) will be used.
Vector data (water and airports) from OpenStreetMap, and elevation data from Jonathan De Ferranti's viewfinderpanorama. Both can be replaced by custom sources if needed.
ok excellent . then it should be one of the best sources already I think. thanks! are you going to add so as it downloads road/houses etc data as well from openstreetmap . or how do I add that to get the best result?
Hello Oscar First and foremost tnx for all the hard work bringing Ortho4XP to the community However, and as much as I hate to bother you, but seems like maybe you are my last resort. I have an issue with running Ortho4Xp Regardless of the Source, when get to Step 3 Iget something like HTTP Connection Pool (host='3r.orth.tiles.virtualnet', port=80) Red Time out ........... Ortho then get into a loop with and finally cease I did run Ortho from my C drive , and when realized that space will become an issue I moved Ortho to dedicated 2T HD Any help Ideas thoughts will be highly appreciated Cheers Yair
Eitehr you moved the exe file from its initial location (don't, there are relative paths for other files), or your Carnet_d_adresses.y was corrupted by editing.
Thank you so much! Oscar! I have exactly the same problem. However, I didn't move the .exe file and I have never touched or edited Carnet_d_adresses.y. What else can I do? By the way, where is Carnet_d_adresses.y or what's it for? Thanks you so much for your help!!

Thanks Oscar! Your contributions to the X-Plane community are very much appreciated!
Hello Oscar. Thanks for the great product.! Where does the program grab the mesh data by default?

It looks like a network issue. Would you have a weak (wifi) connection or a too restrictive firewall/antivirus ? [please prefer forums for questions]
.. I don't think so, cuz I setup both the Firewall & the AniViruse, & on the forum nobody responded .... but tnx anyway
Once i click the .exe file, a black prompt pops up, then closes immediately. Then nothing happens after that. Any idea why ?

How can we download the latest version. The one on Xplane.org was last updated in July.
Dropbox links in my x-plane.org signature
Thank you Oscar :)
Weird, you don't have a signature that I can see
I guess you need to be logged in.
x-plane.fr seems not have such a restriction
I was logged in, but no worries, I found the link in another forum signature of yours ^^ Just finished rendering my first tile
Thank you
I have no Bin file ??? Ive tried downloading it, but its saying something about python ??
Do we install newer versions over the older version?
There is a link in my signature (x-plane.org or .fr) called "Windows binary updates". Only two files need to be copied over from there.
What is the latest version ? v1.20b ?
Yep
Oscar where can I donate some bucks to you?
complicated.
