@ronalddevine9587, I agree but I had a different agenda. I wanted the sound deadening property of the celotex board and the convenience of using what I had on hand. I’m an hour away from the largest city around here and even further from a Home Depot or Lowe’s. If I did this style again I would use all plywood, screws, and shorter staples. If I ever restore or reproduce the Badlands layout, I’ll do it just like they did (minus the asbestos plaster of course!). My next video tonight will talk about using plaster cloth over foam insulation. I hope you enjoy. 😊 RT

I think it would have been even easier if you used 1/4" plywood for the base, and shorter staples.
