Thank you so much for your leaf sprout pattern. I have looked at loads of different ones and yours is by far the best of the bunch. I taught myself to crochet over 50 years ago. I have never even heard of the surface crochet slip stitch. It creates a very neat finish to the centre of the leaf and is surprisingly simple to do. So you are never too old to learn new things! 😊

I just had a second attempt at this pattern after trying another pattern. I like that your pattern starts with the leaves and you work your way down to the stem and back up reinforcing the stem.
This is amazing! I havnt touched a crochet hook in years and this was the first time making a full item. I slowed it doesn’t to half speed for some parts and it was amazing!
