As LFC fan, I can be a little bit biased. But after the halftime me and some of my friends (Chelsea fans) was shocked. We all agreed, that it could be 7 or 8 easily before the halftime. I can't understand, how Brendan could build such an amazing attacking team with such a shitty defence and Mignolet in goal. I was scared everytime opponents crossed or passed the ball to our box. But this game was his peak as a coach. And yeah, that shot from Suarez... Some part of me would prefer boring 1-0 win, but watching it wenting in live.
But remember when he was out for some time and Liverpool still did well. He scored so many and did amazing but they still carried on when he couldn't play
@@carlwisniewski7503 That was because Sturridge was great in that season. They still had someone to rely on when Suarez got injured/wasn't playing/went missing. He was only 25 in that season, too.Imagine what he could've become if it wasn't for his injuries.
This match, for me is the best example of attacking football ever. 4 goals in 20 minutes, Toure could've scored in that time, Sturridge could as well, and Suarez with an amazing shot hit's the bar. Just insane 20 minutes that I don't think I will ever see again.
Agreed. For me, this is my favourite 20 minutes of football because we could have scored 8 times in those first 20 minutes. It was relentless. Mate, Arsenal have lost 6-1 to United, 6-0 to Chelsea, 4-0 to Liverpool, 6-3 to City and this is excluding the 8-2 and 5-1 as you have mentioned. Arsenal are just piss poor against other top 6 sides.
