Is there a breakdown available on how to calculate CSA reinforcements, as the Rule book seems confusing on that matter, at least it is for me.

Thanks for another turn's playthrough. To be honest I was never really interested in the ACW as a gameable subject vut lately I've been giving it a second thoughts. Looking at mid-weight and reasonably priced titles on a full war (which usually means GMT) would you recommend this one? How does it compare to For the People (if you've played it)? Asking as I'll probably play both solo but usually don't mind solo-ing CDGs😁

This is pretty much the only strategic level ACW game I've played, so hard for me to judge against others. It's based on VG's Civil War and GMT's For the People, and I'd suggest they're the closest comparisons.

Can you replace crappy leaders? If so, how does that happen? Can you move leaders to different theaters? How are Southern forces in Missouri being in supply? Good overview. Thanks!

You can relocate 1 and 2 star leaders, and that helps a bit, but most of the Union 3-star leaders are terrible and can't be relocated easily.

The peculiar thing about USCW is that the Shenandoah Campaign, with Stonewall Jackson, humiliating the North, does NOT have a chance to happen in this game, whereas this has better chances to be represented in the FtP
