I'm sure I speak for everyone, seeing this build where it is now has been such a huge pay off for sticking around and watching every video. I'm absolutely hyped for you Taylor. Can't wait until it's completely dialed in and breaking necks in comp!
Enjoy every minute of this build. A lot of man hours and i really enjoy the jibber jabber... Please save your investment and put a fire system on this build. Would hate to see it all go up in a ball like what happened to Collette and her Vette
Dude you have no idea it's given me the motivation to get my t-shirt company and race team going again and even sell new and more than before this guy is 100% the motivation booster. Love the build would love to build a car like this one day
Did you scream "Shut the door!" when he started testing it? With my luck, the clutch would have had an inch of travel and ripped the door right off as I barrelled out of the shop the first time I slipped it. lol
I don’t think I’ve missed a single minute of content released on this build. Absolutely love this build, and the dedication to showing all aspects of the builds, good or bad. Excited to see this thing ripping, and even more excited to see how much better Taylor’s gonna be.
Taylor, DUDE... This built has been fantastic. You and Josue have out done yourselves. I thought the best build was the Fummins but you Sirs have done it with this one. Best part is it isn't even done, but the moving under it's own power milestone is phenomenal. Thanks for sharing this and inspiring others.
So proud of you Taylor found you when I was still just a kid probably 6-7 years ago so age 12-13 an seen you from Adams videos, I’m 19 now an just proud of where you’ve been an where your still going watching these build video is truly a very calming thing keep them up. Hope you have tons of fun with that car 🖤 thank you.
I haven't missed a single video of this build and after all those hours it was very rewarding to see Taylor with that huge smile as he felt the drivetrain fully functioning for the first time
To see the joy and excitement for getting the dog box to "clunk" into gear makes it all worthwhile Taylor! Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🎊 👏 !!!! Thanks for sharing the build with us @
haven't missed a Minute of this build...All it needs now to is the prideful appearance to match the work, sweat and tears that went into it.. big congrats all the way from South Africa🇿🇦
I'm playing this on my channel on my phone, my son's yt on the TV and a guest account on my main desktop. This video and Taylor's effort deserves the extra views 👏
09:33 jaja That face! You are a trully inspiration for me. Im from Argentina and we dont have any of the things I see in the USA or any country that isnt poor lol But the way you work and you show us made me wanna get out of here just to keep learning stuff. Thanks!
You are almost there. This is the last stretch before testing. Just because you have about a month before the next event, don't waste this time. Do a nut and bolt check and finish whatever little bit of things that need to be finished. Then throw the glass and body panels on and test it. Give yourself at least 2 weeks just for testing and any kind of repairs or changes that need to be done. But congrats on getting it to drive somewhat. I can't wait for the next video. 😍
Like a kid in a candy store... Nothing better than seeing what you built working as it should perfectly? So happy for you guys love seeing that smile from ear to ear from guys.
You can't tell the chop of the cam from the mic in the car, but when you were revving it, it sounded awesome! Then with the out of the car mic, it picks up the chop nicely. Great sounding exhaust!! Here's an atta boy, atta boy!!!!
It's so nice watching someone who actually thinks a few steps ahead, as opposed to reactively, when shit starts falling apart. This is part of a winning formula at hight levels of racing. Reliability is right under talent. You need both. Taylor, I can't wait to see you tear it up in this car, and crush that competition, with graceful sportsmanship.lol I'm getting so pumped for this build.🏎😎🤘🏼
My favorite part of this whole build has been how meticulous Taylor is with absolutely every decision he makes, cutting absolutely no corners. Can’t help but smile when he popped it into gear and watched his reaction when he heard the “clunk” for the first time. You can tell how much he truly cares by how excited the little things make him. Can’t wait to see this thing absolutely rip soon! Congrats Taylor and Josue, and everyone else that has contributed to this epic build!
Definitely top Builds I've seen on TH-cam. Congratulations Taylor. You've busted your knuckles for many years in and on the Miata. What you've accomplished in that car I can't imagine what you'll accomplish in this car! The Best of the Best built by a Pro.
I couldn't stop smiling. I could see your excitement in the way you were rushing the camera around. That kind of hurry is uncharacteristic of you. I could feel what you were feeling. That's why I love this channel.
Big kudos to Joslay (sorry I don't know how to spell it). He's going to have to get a few test drives in it. At minimum, you'll need a passenger seat. lol
Drive the damn thing! You're killing me dude! When it dries up a little, take it around the block. Very happy for you, you've put so much time into this build. Great job 👍. Can hardly wait till you lite up those rear tires and get that clutch engaged fully!🤟🏁
Yeah this car is probably the only build I have followed so religiously.... it's great how stoked I get when new videos are loaded up about this build....I feel like I have time invested in this thing 😆.... great job dude, can't wait to see it sideways breaking necks!!
Remembering back when you made the video about all the cars you owned. You’ve have grown so much man, its awesome to see the satisfaction in your stride because of everything you have accomplished. It’s truly motivational to watch this unfold at the same time you do!!! Thanks for including us into your life for all these years!!
Hooooly it’s crazy to see the vette on the ground and moving under its own power!! Bloody well done Taylor, it’s crazy how fast you guys have put this together and the quality you’ve managed to achieve. Bloody well done
this car makes me feel like I've never been excited for a youtuber before, and this is the first time. You're the man Taylor, I hope you take some long sips of self-gratitude on this one!
This has to be the most sorted car build I've had the pleasure of watching! Thank you for letting us tag along! And for the detail you put in the video's!
This thing is going to absolutely kill it in competition. All the little things that are so well thought out are going to make such it such a killer comp car and I think it will make it super easy to get sorted out/ tested and get it dialed in 100% and I just can not wait to see it. I have loved the build process so much but seeing it rip and do well will also be just as awesome 👍👍
Taylorray i am more happy to see this build. i was so happy to hear this beast of power train start up on its own power. taylor u r a master of this build of yours and many u builds u have done... I AM ENJOYING EVERY BIT OF THIS. I LOVE IT... I HAVE BEING WATCHING YOU FOR 2 YEARS NOW.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND DEED....
Ive been watching this build with eagerness to see it to this point (even through the painful wiring videos...lol) and I'm pumped to see it on track, awesome build! I just got a project car myself for me and my son to build and this is some inspiration for me to take my time and do it 120% the wait is worth the reward!
Taylor, is there any way you can show how well your heat management worked? I’d love to see the results of all your hard work. Especially the wrapped headers. Edit: made this post before watching. I saw the temp sensor in the bay. You think of everything! It would be cool if you could show the headers on a thermal camera though. I love this car
Learned so much just from watching this build that I never knew about drift cars. Just your brief explanation of simple stuff is so nice to have. I've heard dogbox thrown around a lot on track and by other people and just by watching these videos I have a better understanding. Happy for you man!
So awesome to see this thing shift into gear and move under its own power , such a monumental moment in every project. I still can’t believe how fast this thing has been built AND ALSO not have a single detail skipped or missed! Insane
this is my method for bleeding line: open bleeder then slowly press pedal closing bleeder 3/4-7/8 through the travel. this allows you to "push" the air out without agitating the brake fluid causing micro bubbles to form. i've found i get a firm pedal faster and don't need to rebleed as much after the first test passes. as long as you don't release the pedal with the bleeder open air won't get in. there is no vacuum in the line. this build has been great to watch. can't wait to see you rip it at the FF
This build series helped me get through 3rd shift man! Can’t wait to for the test vid! Seems like your clutch pedal is alittle far away since your leg is fully extended. Might be the way you like it
ive watched every video of this build and it must be so satisfying for u as a car builder to here and feel that clunk wen u put this car in to gear and to have it move under its own power im so happy for you and i cant wait to cu u rip this
that smile when the dog box gave you what you wanted. Bud, it was like when she did it, you felt like a badass! see what happens when you drive Donnie. I'm a carpenter by trade. seeing someone use their hands and brain. To create. Especially cars. And that you built it to beat the shit out of! That smile though. Great vigia!
You've completely motivated me to start and complete my project car. I'm very far from building a comp car from scratch, but I'm hoping to have something I can put on track for seat time in the near future. Congrats on this and I look forward to seeing what you can do with it!
I am very impressed with this build you have been very methodical on each step of the process. That was a very unexpected change in the suspension components but I like the total concept of it, very impressive! There is going to be a learning curve while you get used to the dog box but you to have killed it.
I'm so glad to see you're running a Just Engineering kit! I run their kit on my AE86 and have been helping them develop more stuff for AE86s. Funny story, they asked how to get ahold of you haha. I got up with Derick Gaskens to make sure they had good contact info for you. I'm glad that between everybody y'all were able to get in touch. I love their stuff - super well thought out and designed.
I think the smile on my face was just as big as your when you was moving it around just having that it’s all starting to pay off moment! Loving the build man you’ve done a killer job!
Just a heads up on the quick change. Don’t know if anyone else commented it but I’m from the northeast and we use them in our circle track race cars. With vibration I personally haven’t had luck with the nuts that you have. They tend to loosen up and leak. We use normal nylon lock nuts and they seem to work best. Don’t want you to be at an event and have issues
Watched this from the beginning and man it’s so awesome to see it finally come together. Super motivational and can’t wait to see you shred tires off it
Taylor, check out the ARES 70921-2. You don't need to fill it with brake fluid and you can use it to pump up the master and then as you crack each bleeder the air comes out. You can buy different thread attachments to match the reservoir you have. It will allow you to solo bleed everything on the car. Just stick it on the masters reservoir where the cap goes and pump it up then crack each bleeder. I use it for my clutch and brakes on all my cars and I never have a second set of hands.
I'm sure I speak for everyone, seeing this build where it is now has been such a huge pay off for sticking around and watching every video. I'm absolutely hyped for you Taylor. Can't wait until it's completely dialed in and breaking necks in comp!
This man speaks truth
Enjoy every minute of this build. A lot of man hours and i really enjoy the jibber jabber... Please save your investment and put a fire system on this build. Would hate to see it all go up in a ball like what happened to Collette and her Vette
Definitely speaking for everyone. I’m hoping it’s done while I’m back home in the Tampa Bay Area for a few months. I gotta see it in person
Not sure I have ever been this happy for someone else to finish a car. Lol
Dude you have no idea it's given me the motivation to get my t-shirt company and race team going again and even sell new and more than before this guy is 100% the motivation booster. Love the build would love to build a car like this one day
man, the smile on taylor's face when he threw it in gear is priceless!
its amazing how far the build as come, loving every second of it
Did you scream "Shut the door!" when he started testing it? With my luck, the clutch would have had an inch of travel and ripped the door right off as I barrelled out of the shop the first time I slipped it. lol
Seeing Taylor happy always makes my day!
I don’t think I’ve missed a single minute of content released on this build. Absolutely love this build, and the dedication to showing all aspects of the builds, good or bad. Excited to see this thing ripping, and even more excited to see how much better Taylor’s gonna be.

Let’s talk now
Thanks for watching
This is one of the most well planned, documented, and executed builds I have watched. You guys are a well oiled team
Too bad this idea has been done already by cletus McFarland... (e.c) donny the c6 drift machine
@@naxxx44 that is literally a bolt on 🚀. It’s a nice Vette but this man built the Mona Lisa of drift vettes

seeing the smile on your face as you put it into gear was worth all the wait that came with this build. great job taylor!
So funny when you burst out in a big smile for every times it "clacks" into gear.
Best of luck from Norway!!
Everytime Taylor shifts it, and it clunks, he just smiles like a proud dad

When you’re sitting at the rear diff talking about gearing I can’t stop looking at the massive tailpipe. It looks so dope lol.
Absolutely the best race car build series on TH-cam. Watching this thing come together has been a blast.
24:00 GODDAM MAN, such a amazing feeling!! I'm over the moon for you my guy! God that's awesome! 👌
The new control arms/angle kit are the definition of clean, good call. The build is beyond impressive, those straight cut gears are crispy af.

Looking forward to this very same feeling when we finish our LS Drift car build! Hope to see you on the track again, that was awesome last time!
I enjoyed THE KLUNK with you. Never gets old.
And, in the new AC-ed big boys big toys shop.
What an achievement.

That's badass, rad build for sure. Been following through it all. Good for you man👍🏼
This series should go down as the best car build series available on TH-cam. Phenomenal.
such an accomplishment man!!! such a wholesome reaction, which I bet put a smile on every fan's face
That car is going to be so badass when its fully complete!
Taylor, awesome job, and just know you earned every nut , bolt, and washer on that car, through hard work, and talent..

this build has been great to watch. can't wait to see you rip it at the FF
Gravity bleed first and then a regular bleed session is the best way if you don't have a air bleeding kit
God I love this build so much. Can’t wait to see this thing rip!
So proud. I have watched all of this (all of your videos) and to see you do this while adding to your property....very cool.
I don't know who was smiling more me or you ...iv waited 5 months for this day to come wooo yes!!!!!!💪💪💪💪💪
The excitement you have over the new car is what it’s all about..congrats and can’t wait to see the for skid in it..💯🔥🤙🏻
Am I the only one who loves the 5 spoke wheels? I think they look amazing. Good work guys!
Your commitment to quality filming is superb
Props for not short-cutting and, instead, building to your own standards. First road test will be huge.
This build series helped me get through 3rd shift man! Can’t wait to for the test vid! Seems like your clutch pedal is alittle far away since your leg is fully extended. Might be the way you like it

Hell yeah brother! I think we all understand the words you’re looking for to describe what you’re feeling right now. Congrats man. You deserve it!
Please please please safety wire those bolts on the quick change and scoot your seat forward a bit.
Car looks amazing. Congrats
I’m glad you switched kits already, especially to JE. Always glad to see the progress on your builds, especially this one. Awesome work!
the one build with zero haters love to see it
Seeing how proud taylor is just putting this car in gear is wholesum, you and josway are killing it
It’s becoming real!! So stoked for you dude!!
So stoked for you bro ! As everyone has already said, we are all so invested in this build. Can't wait to this rip OSW 👊😎
Next video! BURNOUT!!! Let’s go baby! Congrats on the progress!
This has easily become my favorite build series on TH-cam. Can't wait to see you rip this thing!
that smile when the dog box gave you what you wanted.
Its a roller... great build Taylor... you have come a long way since I watched you do the original Miata build in the old garage...
Shew congrats, to see you laugh and smile at this point in the build puts a smile on my face.
CLUNK!!! Great job on this, can’t wait to see it shredding! 😎👍🏻
Awesome man no better feeling than getting a big project running and driving.
I’ve watched every video of This series. And I l can’t wait to see it with panels and moving side ways
I'm always so stoked a new Taylor Ray video appears in my subscriptions tab
Your self control is AMAZING. I am sure that literally EVERY other builder would have lit the tires as soon as it was on concrete. :-)
Good to see it all coming together! Looks mean without body panels!!! Should test it like that!!!
Congrats dude! That's a huge accomplishment. Built in the garage too!
That's great to see that it's moving under it's own power. Can't wait to see that thing shred.
Watched this from the beginning and man it’s so awesome to see it finally come together. Super motivational and can’t wait to see you shred tires off it
7:50 It's nice to see Sandy in the video again.
Sandy, with a little bit of Keegan (dog) mixed in.
Best build series on TH-cam since mullet was built on cleets channel! Dare I say even better since you did it yourself!
