- This is a video on how I repaired my 2011 Mercedes Sprinter AC (blowing hot air sometime when system shows full charge ) AC not working this is the Fix for sprinter ac blowing hot then cold or Mercedes sprinter blowing hot air intermittently . Just did the same repair on my sprinter... I do residential HVAC... but my diagnostics were completely off lol.. both my low and high pressures were really high. The sprinter only cooled when I was driving on the highway. I changed out the controls and it all magically works now. I paid $120 for the part plus $20 shipping. Well worth the risk of buying the wrong part.

Nice Video! Thanks for sharing! I looked at a 2008 Sprinter, and it blows cold and then fades. If you turn it off and then turn it on, it blows cold again. Repeat process. I’m thinking that the repair you did would have a good chance of fixing that!

Check your belt maybe loose or needs to be replaced
I notice that once you installed the “new” a/c control head that you did not do a teach in of the actuator motors. How do you know that the actuators are normalized and completely taught in?

What was the pressure on the high and low side
Everything else about the AC was good it was just the dash thermostat controller unit was bad I replaced it that fix my problem . I went on a six hour trip last week AC worked like a champ .
@@OJacks my low side is too high and i dont know whats wrong with it is there a pressure switch for the freon
here is the pressure switch but check to see how much refrigerant in the system if it’s good then 👌🏽 but if the thermostat is stripped that means it not calling for the AC not adjusting
