I'm convinced 2nd boss is why tether was disabled
I just wish it wasn't still disabled. Figured I wouldnt get a group for Contest mode so I was running it solo on normal and man, it would have made things easier having tether.

@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 apparently there was a bug with tether that let you do damage pretty much equal to the glitched crafted weapons a while back >_>
It was defo the reason my friend said that bc you were tethering so many bosses it would just crash the game
@@IvyDoesShenanigans official reason is tether is causing guitar errors consistently in the dungeon.
it’s pretty cool how creative bungie has been getting with the dungeon and raid encounters the last few times around.

Btw wardcliff is useable, me and my buddy 2 phased 1st boss solely with wardcliff and nova bombs.

I kept a hullaballo with envy, cascade for a rainy day, insane solo damage
it kinda blows my mind that grand oveture is still a suprise for some people that it is amazing for boss dps.
Wardens law lucky pants is also doing about the same damage it was pre lucky pants nerf cuz of the buffs to it's archetype so it's an alt to outbreak if u run out of ammo on hunter
Definitely not, it used to take out overlords in GM, now it's only good for red bar.
@@sirhan194it’s been tested and they’re correct that it’s barely different than before although last word is now significantly better than wardens for lucky pants
Prospecter and area denial GL also work really well anywhere. Consistent top DPS and add clear. Prismatic hunter...no tether ofc :/
I found that storms edge with start-eater works good on the servitors
My team used choir with a bait n switch gl got us a clean 3 phase on contest. The missile machine gun is nice but if u die before dmg u lose all stacks which isn’t fun
what’s the best way to dps with that loadout?

I had star-eater hunter with gathering storm + stasis heavy waveframe with env.ass+ofa and did 3.2m damage in 1 phase.

Song of Flame itself can tank the Thunderbolt if you're running 2 Arc Resist & Concussive

I was a solar hunter and couldn’t clear on contest, really wanted the gun. What could I have done as a solar hunter?
Why hasn't anyone used wardcliff on the servitor? Bonus damage should apply like it does to sepiks.
Ive heard the wardcliff was banned, never tried to equip it so cant be sure
Used it, it is insane but can be inconsistent depending on how split they become

That's if it will work as it was one of the disabled weapons in contest mode of that dungeon I don't know why they did that though.

If you’re using whisper with sanguine, after popping well what is the need to swap to prismatic with a solar super? Why not just stay on solar well?
When you stand in a well it converts your solar weapon damage into solar super damage aka ability damage and facet of courage on prismatic will buff your light abilities damage on targets with a darkness debuff(slow, unravel, frozen, etc.) ,and because you are standing in a well your whisper damage is converted to "ability" dmg and facet of courage will then buff the damage of your whisper even further on top of the dmg boost sanguine is providing
We one phased servitor boss with well, two thundercrash and wardcliff
We uses the heavy waveframe. Did good damage
This Dungeon is giving a Heavy GL with Surrounded and Dead Zone. If you know, you know!!

Yes
You can farm the encounters for the dungeon loot but you only get three chances per week (one per character) at a chance for Icebreaker from the final boss
Not having a warlock on the team makes the last fight miserable. Idc if u can one or two phase by doing all this warlock cheese the health on the final needs to be brought down for when ur playing on other classes
I found that prospector is very good both bosses
I think we had 6 phases on last boss, it was so boring doing all the mechanics everytime

I did not enjoy this one either. Completed normal and not gonna do it again.
@@Steve-Jody Might be worth one more shot in a while once everyone is familiar with it. I wasn't a fan of it my clear either because getting to and doing dps was a real pain in each encounter, and wasn't looking forward to future clears at all. But then I ran it a couple more times with the same team and we were able to do it much more easily and I had much more fun with the whole dungeon overall
I enjoyed trying to figure out the first encounter on contest mode. But after that it was rough. Seems like hunters aren’t very useful for most of the encounters. The first two are okay. But the boss is the worse thing ever. You spend an eternity getting to the damage phase and then damage phase is the worst. Either jump around and hope to hell you make it while dodging auto seeking rounds from and the copies and massive witherhoard pools. If you don’t have healing on demand you’re screwed. You absolutely have to have a well lock. Healing turret etc…
Titans and warlocks seem to be okay but I feel like Hunters are just screwed. Or maybe I haven’t thought of the couple builds that will be good. But it’s more about getting the hunter there. They can’t be the powerhouse helping the other two surivive
