First check DC biasing conditions
VCE = 50% of VCC that is 50%of 10V = 5Volt
VCB= 40%VCC
VBE=10%VCC
It is an LC oscillator hence its output frequency will be very high
Use IFT secondary side as the inductor and two 0.001 micro Farad ceramic disc capacitor (code 102)
Colpitt’s oscillator is also an LC oscillator. The tank circuit is made up of C1, C2 and L. R1, R2 andRE
provide self bias for the transistor. Capacitors C1 and C2 act as an ac voltage divider and produce
180O phase shift. A further phase shift of 180O is provided by the CE amplifier. In this way proper
feedback is supplied to produce continuous undamped oscillations.
Thank you ,we need more videos like this....
how did you find value of R1,R2, Rc?
really good video. thx.
Hi dont include an RF coil ?
RF coils are not readily available in the market.
@@TechnoTipsE4U it is necessary for the circuit ?
Please tell me the value of inductor
Please
You can find out the values of the inductor and capacitor by using the formula frequency = 1/2pi sqrt(LC)
If f =455 kHz. L= milli Henry (inductors available in milli Henry range) then you will get the value of capacitance. You can choose the value of inductors available in the market. Then decide the value of capacitor.
where are the inductors in your circuit ?
what is the value of IFT?
PLEASE
IFT is readily available in the market. Normally come in a pack with three nos. 2 nos with capacitor and one without Capacitor. For colpitts oscillator you can use both of them. Heartily use IFT with capacitor. IFT for 455 kHz
can we use inductor instead of IFT in this circuit
Sure. You can use inductor, but the problem is inductors are not readily avaliable. So first select an inductor (Milli Henry) range, which is readily available in the market and then find out the value of capacitor.
what is cost of IFT?
Rs 20-50 it depends
@@TechnoTipsE4U Thank you very much sir
i will try in our lab
