Driving From The Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve Entrance Sign to The Day Use Area

June 9, 2023 - After we took a quick video at the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve entrance sign we were off to check in. We were there very early so the gate attendant wasn't even there yet and technically the visitors center wasn't open yet either. So we drove to the parking lot at the day use area to use the bathrooms and check out the dunes. Afterwards we drove around the picnic day use area and ate an early lunch before heading to our camping spot for the day.

And yes, this park is SERIOUSLY dark at night. Like can't see your hand in front of your face, dark.
