Emma Watson does have freckles, it's just that she wears make-up and that covers them. And it is a *live action* movie, it isn't animated. So i get why they did it so it looks realistic.

Don't apologize for being "picky". You paid full price $35 for a doll that has obvious flaws in it. The least Disney Stores could do is offer to take the doll back in exchange for one that hasn't got such obvious flaws. If this shipment of dolls all have the same flaws, then Disney needs to recall them and deal with the manufacturer (probably in China).
For a "carefully crafted" doll she sure has alot of visable defects and I'm sorry but they could've did a way better job on the face mold. Emma is a beautiful actress but this doll makes her look deformed. Honestly it looks slapped together and for the price I'd say it's very much a disappointment. Pass.
I KNOW! THAT FOREHEAD! That isn't normal! I know people have huge foreheads..But her forehead here on the doll looks like sloth from Goonies and Sloth had down-syndrome and was deformed!

Holy moly, Froggy is reviewing Bieberelle! xD This doll shows that scanning can be still a very faulty technique that should not be used without thorough examination by designers. One of my fellow animation students wrote his graduation paper about scanning in comparison to manual 3D modelling, and the scanned result was way inferior to the model he made from scratch. If the Cinderella dolls were scanned as well, kudos to them, but my bet is that they did a ton of corrections afterwards. As for Emma - either they took the scan result as-is, without ever questioning the appeal of what the scanner produced, or someone entirely else showed up for the scanning ^^ I'm really shocked that Disney of all people greenlighted this, after they saw the outcome. And they're selling her for how much? Nope. xP Very disappointed they did that to Emma. She deserves better. ^^
I mean... the doll overall looks great. But I think they really should have just stuck with a more "Barbie look" than realistic. Even though the Cinderella live-action dolls were also based on the actors, they still had a very "doll-like" look to them. This Belle just looks off(not to mention the weird face plate over the hairline thing).

I'd say around 80% of the people who have seen them greatly dislike the face or just outright hate it. They managed to take an absolutely beautiful actress and make one of the absolute ugliest dolls I've ever seen in her "likeness". I'm sorry, but I feel this is an insult to Emma . . . I seriously hope the redo the face. I might actually buy them then.

If you didn't know about the changes to the dress in the film, Emma wanted a slight redesign of it because she didn't want the corset. She thought it set unrealistic body images so they had to do a redesign of the dress.
Emma Watson played Hermione in Harry Potter and if this doll is made to look like she, you can transform it in Hermione Granger, I think... Of course, with another doll.
