Woohoo! I always have fun hanging out at The Paper Outpost! I have been crafting along with you, adding goodies to the new journal I'm working on! This project was really enjoyable & easy, and I had such a blast finding/making stuff to fill the pockets, as well as decorate the pages! I used up quite a bit of the scraps on my desk, and I was so happy with the results! Thank you so much for another AWESOME "thumbs up" video using hand-made & up-cycled items, Pam! Special thanks to Sunshine for the informative Canine Report! He's so adorable! I hope you both have a wonderful day, as well as all of you crafty peeps out there! Sending love & hugs to all from Texas! PS: My pocket fillers include: the "fortune" from a fortune cookie, movie ticket stubs, price tag from a thrift store outing, vintage recipe card (deep dish apple pie!) and since the journal is for personal use, a strip of pics from a photo booth! It's always a bonus when items have memories from happy times attached to them - it's like having a pocket filled with smiles :D
Good Monday morning Pam and Outposters. I love hearing your voice, Pam, to start my day. You have great ideas that any of us can make. Thank you for the inspiration and creative boost.
Good Morning to all! I also love watching you while drinking my coffee! So many ideas to try and such a feeling of accomplishment when I finish making a project to put in my journal.
An opened, double paged, corner fancy, double pocket treasure page/s is fantastic. Sometimes one page just isn’t enough. Defusing this often; maybe a whole journal. 😮
Morning! Couldn't believe I heard the word Shmo ! When I was a little tyke, every once in a while my Mom would say "you're a Shmo" ... must be a Canadian thing haha. Don't think I ever told you I'm from Ontario Canada. Citizen since 1996. Anyway, love this handy little folder to clip into a journal. Quite handy, eh?
Love this pocket and the washi tape sides, great idea, it looks fantastic in between the pages. Journal shaping up to be another wonderful pam journal. xx
Pam I’m amazed of the craft things you come up with! A Russian ticket ! Enjoyed your video and you make me laugh! We need more of that in this world. Say hi to Sonny please. ❤
Good morning Miss Pam. I love the little booklet idea, especially the curved-deckle topped one. It is so relaxing watching and sharing in your creative thought process. Too relaxing for so eary in the morning, especially with the mysterious ocean wave sounds! Even Señor Fluffy Pants was under the spell!
Awesome ideas. Love that your shirt goes with the pages. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. I am planning on making journal's in the new year. I have to finish up two quilts and making a cookbook first. Thank you for being so inspiring. 💓
Actually it's not just three that look good, but odd numbers that work. So you had five pieces on the two pages and that is why it felt good to leave it that way. The more you know...😊 ❤
Hello miss pam and sunshine and holly and Leonardo and happy ❤ happy almost Thanksgiving yes pam I'm making this as I'm watching you make it so I'm crafting with you 😊❤
I’m still considering myself a beginner but I so want to make junk journals for gifts. Making them for myself is one kind of satisfaction, and I finally kicked myself in the backside and started one this year (with fear and trepidation btw, don’t ask,) and had great fun with it. I watched a lot of videos before I started making my first one. It’s hard to retain every great idea I’ve ever seen so I keep watching. I think this little booklet thingy is the Bee’s knees! I’m definitely going to use this for my next project, I think you’re right about adding elements that the receiver of a gift journal can play with!! Question, have you thought about making a little ‘station’ like you have made for your glue bottles, but for your favorite brown dauber?
How about making this a Christmas tree and folding part of the trunk up fir the pocket? Use the pinking scissors? You can use shiny embellishments for tree decorations and presents in the pocket.
Love this one for sure! So cute!i always put a little piece of fabric on the end of my plain paper clips as I just don’t want to use them naked! lol! I thought you were going to put the Butterflies antennas on with your pen….oh yes I actually found someone selling a box full of old photos and paper with handwritten letters on FB Bidding Wars! I hope I win it! Although my hubby probably wishes I don’t….haha! Thanks Pam! ❤️📕🇨🇦
Great idea for pockets and book pages!!!!

An opened, double paged, corner fancy, double pocket treasure page/s is fantastic. Sometimes one page just isn’t enough. Defusing this often; maybe a whole journal. 😮

Yes, Sunny, get a lot more than the more you get! 😂😂
do you have a neat idea to use those torn rough edges that you showed how to trim up?

I haven't been able to find the Scotch Create glue stick anywhere, including Amazon.😢
Suggle bunny love to you
Hey Pam. where's your gilding paste?😂
