Croydon: How it is - November 2021

One year ago I made a video about a short, rare trip to Croydon Town Centre. I visited again in 2021 to see what has changed one year on, capture the vibe one year later.
I have lived in Croydon all of my life and it used to be the place to go for shopping, bars, restaurants etc. It has been hit hard by the lack of progress of the proposed Westfield Development and hit harder again by the Council being declared bankrupt and needing government assistance to balance the financial books.
Seeing development worked being carried out is positive. But what it means on the ground and to the shops and businesses will not be known for some time.
