Good morning everyone:) Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. Today I'm sharing 20 style tips I tend to have as a bit of an easy checklist to make sure my outfits feel more put together and polished. I really hope you enjoy the video, glean a few tips along the way and hopefully a bit of outfit inspiration for the coming weeks too:) Big hugs everyone, I'm looking forward to hearing your foolproof style tips in the comments below. x
Aww that's sweet of you Anthi, thanks lovely:) And yay for a body shape video, I'm hopeful people will find that helpful. Have a lovely rest of the weekend hun x
Another great video Jess! Love your style 🥰 Yes please can you make a video on how to style for your particular body shape 🙏. By the way I’ve been wanting to tell you that I follow a number of fashion TH-camrs and you are by far the sweetest, most down to earth and humblest TH-camr out there 🤗🥰. Watching you fills my heart with joy and peace on the weekends ❤ With love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Aww Sandra, that’s the sweetest comment ❤️ I really appreciate your kind words, what a lovely way to start my day😘 I am totally incapable of turning that camera on and being anything but completely myself, quirks and all! So it’s heartwarming to hear that thank you:) Happy Sunday Sandra and I’ll start having a think about a body shapes video, coming soon then x
Good morning, Jess. It was nice seeing how you organize your closet. Yes, I would love to see you present a video on body shapes and how to style them appropriately. All your tips were very helpful.
That’s wonderful to hear Diane, it sounds like lots of women are interested in seeing that one too so I shall get it filmed:) Have a lovely week ahead and thanks so much again for your support x
Hi Jess, great video!! I think a video on styling by body type would be amazing🤩 Is there any chance you could include plus size? Maybe inviting a friend who wears a bigger size and using them as a model? It’s sometimes hard to imagine how certain things would look on my body type. No worries if not, just thought I’d ask. Already getting so much inspo from your videos and I just bought a Sezane shirt and as you said their sizing is true UK sizing. I LOVE it❤
Hi lovely, that's a great idea:) I'd love to try and cover everyone's different body shapes and sizes. I think petite women struggle with finding the right clothes too. Let me have a think on this one and the best way to film/explain it all. Leave that one with me my lovely:) So happy to hear you love Sezane too, they just get it so right don't they! Or wrong if I'm thinking of my bank balance haha! happy Sunday lovely x
@@FashionStyleEdit yes my bank account have definitely taken a hit since I’ve made more orders since then😅 Thank you so much for your response and for considering doing other body fits❤️ have a great Sunday x
You have helped me to ALWAYS consider my style every day, I follow your tips and now they come naturally to me. As a result my confidence has improved. I’m retired so don’t have places to go every day, but even in my home I feel stylish yet relaxed. Thank you 😊
I look forward to Sunday, Jess, because of you! The highlight of my morning! Sometimes I feel like I have a closet of regrets, but you give me hope on how to style them. You're like a great chef, but using ingredients from the closet.
Aah I love that analogy Joan☺️ Well thankfully my skills with clothes are far better than my talents in the kitchen! Always a pleasure sharing ideas with you all, you are the loveliest collection of women:) Have a wonderful week ahead x
You are, hands down, the best advocate for Sezane (and Polene). You make their pieces look so great and effortless, I discovered the brand thanks to youand now have several pieces… 😊
Aww that's so kind of you to say thank you:) I'm so glad you discovered Sezane from my channel. I just love their style and have done for years, It just ticks every box from the style, quality and price point, and it's been a pleasure to share over the years. Happy Sunday my lovely, hope you're having a wonderful chilled weekend so far x
I like the looks. I agree to buy good quslity natural and breathable materials. One can always go to a thrift or consignment store to find exquisite affordable pieces. Or shop the sales. It makes a huge difference.
I love how you call me Jesse! Only my late (gorgeous) ice-skating coach used to call me that! Or shout it across the ice to tell me to work harder haha! Glad to hear you're a fellow blazer lover too Najat, and I'm really loving navy far more than black recently, really versatile x
Good afternoon, fist I would like to say thank you. I looking to change my closing to look more fashion and classy. I love your style. I will continue following your video and started adding the items you recommend. Again thank you a million. this is going to help me a lot. more.
Hi Jess Thanks for the tips...lots to think about. I have a chaotic approach that needs work. The tip that resonates the most with me is to get one special piece per season instead of a few that are just so so. I think that sounds like a very good plan that should increase the pleasure while decreasing the less meaningful consumption.
Hi Jess. Thank you for another great video! Could you please do one on "Tips to organise your closet"? I still have a lot of doubts, like should you hang or fold your knitwear (I noticed you hang it). It would be great to hear your thoughts on this:). Oh, and could you please please link the gorgeous brown boots that you are wearing in outfit 15? Thank you!
Yes, please do a styling video based on body shape! I just came across your channel, and am learning so much! I have broad shoulders, a short body, long legs, and wide hips with a bum lol, (an hourglass figure I guess?) and am only 5'4. I've always felt like I've struggled how to dress for my body shape. Your videos though are giving me some great ideas, thank you!
Jess, I would love to see a video on styling different shapes. However, most of them focus on the various shapes that are out there. I wouldn't consider myself an inverted triangle because I have very narrow shoulders, but I have a 32G bra size. I am 5'2", 114 pounds, short waisted, with a flat bum! I like to wear belts, but then it makes my bust stand out if my top is tucked in all the way. Lately, I've been wearing a lot of looser fit trousers instead of tighter jeans, and that seems to do better for my rear. I really love watching your videos. You are always so elegant looking in everything you wear!
Thank you for another great video. you have helped me find my way again with style and my confidence which i lost as i hit the menopause. Body shapes video would be great x
I'm going to look at your list of current blazers now - very useful. I certainly would like to see you do some workshops on dressing for different body shapes.
Awesome tips Jess! I'd love to see a video on styling for different body shapes. Great idea! Something that I started doing last year was not only thinking about what I would wear the next day to work but also pull the pieces out of my wardrobe and hang them on a dedicated hook. This way I will know for sure that what I have chosen is clean, ironed, lint-free, etc. This ensures that all is good to go in the morning when I'm pressed for time. Thanks for all that you do. Hugs, Tiina 😘
I was just thinking... A Body shape video would be lovely when you suddenly said, you would concider this 🤣 i would love to see that! 20 great tips, thank you! Happy sunday!
❤❤Thank you so much for the care and time you take doing these videos❤❤Yesss to a body type video. Would love an update 2023 on belts and another on the perfect white shirt❤❤
Hey Jess, another great video. 👏 Such fabulous tips and you ALWAYS help me tweak my style which I love , but you do it in such a lovely genuine and friendly way. I really look forward to your weekly uploads. 🥰 I’ve just got an electric debobbler and it’s a game changer! Have a great week. xx
Whenever I get too tired to do something for myself- colour my hair, do my nails - always remember how easy it is to let go... and you should never do that! It's so much better to look at the mirror and be satisfied with the results! Keep up ! 🥰🤗
Hey Jess hope you've had a great week. Great tips, I always think that a scarf really elevates a look, it's the one item in my wardrobe I have multiples of! When I commuted to London I had to have a rucksack a lot of the time as I had so much stuff with me, it's really bad for your shoulders and back to use a shoulder bag that's chocca with stuff. I swear I've got one shoulder lower than the other due to years of doing this 😂. Have a great week hun x
Haha I bet! It's like when you see women with toddlers in those back frame contraptions!! I honestly don't know how they do it, they must burn some serious calories carrying them round all day like that! x
You have the best wardrobe, Jess. Thank you for the video, I love all the tips. Also, thank you for taking into consideration my comment from your previous video.
Love your videos! You inspired me to order the Scott trench online (I live in the USA) from Sezane. Love it so much, I bought a second colour 😁 . I would love to see a video on travel wardrobes, as I am headed to Europe in late August - London, Dublin, and Lisbon. Your ideas and looks would be fantastic.
Good morning lovely, great video! I totally agree with pressed and debobble clothing, haha, it makes a difference on your appearance. Blazers and coats have literally become my 'to go to' when I need to look polished instantly. As for the invention of sunnies, best thing since sliced bread lol Great tips as always! Have lovely Sunday :)xxx
Amazing as always. I love how you manage to look polished and at the same time really cool...never boring! You are a great inspiration dear Jess. Have a really good week. Lots of love from your devoted fan in Salzburg 😊😘
Thanks s for a great lot of tips explained simply and effectively you talked to us not at us and you look fabulous looking forward to putting yutr tips in to place
Hi Jess! Another fab video-some great advice there to consider! I’d love a video where you style different body shapes-as someone petite in height but unfortunately not as petite in size, it’s a minefield so all advice would be so appreciated ❤
Jess, I love your style and tips and watched this video trying to distract myself from the cyclone we’ve got in NZ tonight. One thing I wondered - how do you store your clothes you pack away when the season changes? I want to make some space in my wardrobe but want to look after my nice winter coat etc. Any tips are welcome. Thanks!
Yes please! I am almost an hour glass but I can't buy dress that are straight down because my hips and bum. I also struggle buying trousers because my waist is so small compared to my hips.
Love the video! Would you share where to buy the belts that you wore, too? The wide black belts, one with a squared buckle and the other one with a rounded buckle.
Aren’t they lovely Kathleen:) I debated them for a while but they played on my mind so I spoilt myself! I’ve added a link in the description box lovely but they’re from a brand called Aeyde x
great video, so relaxing, thank you! would you be interested to film a closet organization or wardrobe switch video - from autumn/winter to spring/summer? i always love watching those videos :)
Thank for this video. Very helpful. I wondered if you could link your hand held steamer? I bought one and it soaked my clothes! I also wondered if you would consider doing a vegan edit? So many of us now avoid wool, silk and leather but still want good quality, chic non-polyester clothing.
It's coming to that time of the year when we are in transition, at least here in Canada, and it's time to plan for the coming season. It's so important to pause and take stock of what you currently have and where the gaps are. I am finding myself trying not to succumb to the temptation of buying the new season pieces until I really look at my wardrobe, consider where the gaps are, what I need, and more importantly, asking myself if the new purchase has a place in my wardrobe, considering my lifestyle.
Hello! Great video, I'm REALLY struggling with looking polished at the moment as I'm 5 months pregnant. Mostly living in leggings and everything feels uncomfortable! But the tips about jewellery and sunglasses are really helpful. The different body shape videos would be very interesting. Do you have any tips for dressing while pregnant, as you have done this 3 times? 😄
Hey Serena, firstly huge congratulations 🙌🏻 That is sooo exciting! I get very broody even thinking about babies 😂 Secondly, I bet you look gorgeous just as you are:) Dressing while pregnant can be tricky as inevitably you have a very different body shape and it’s a tough one investing in pieces you’ll only wear for a short amount of time. I put on 4 stone with each of my pregnancies too so I had a very different body shape than my norm! I think you’ll find it easier as we’re coming into Spring dressing for your shape as you won’t need quite so many layers. I lived in maxi skirts and maternity tank tops, often just with a blazer layered on top. I bought maternity clothes from quite a few Australian brands, it’s a bit random I know but for some reason they have really nice maternity collections so I’d definitely recommend a google on that. Other than that I would say focus on the accessories to bring in that polished vibe, sunnies, a lovely structured handbag, a blazer or perhaps a nice lightweight oversized trench coat. Pashminas are handy too as a quick and easy addition to polish most looks. x
@@FashionStyleEdit Thank you, this is super helpful advice. I agree, I can't wait for spring and the chance for bare legs again. It's reassuring to hear I am not the only one putting on a lot of weight and changing shape! I'll investigate the Aussie brands and see what I can't find! 😄 Xxx
Wow what ya think About ya bring about alright Jess was wondering what happened to you well now I know notifications was not in my favor just put the bells back on missed you beautiful 😘
Hello my friend Jess 😀, I would absolutely love a video focused on body shape & outfits. I'm also interested in the length of blazers a I'm currently working early on my spring cleaning & this is a way to keep/donate/Cheers 😘
Morning lovely, really enjoyed this. Thank you for being real! Would love a body shape video. I’m an hour glass and not always sure what to wear. Have a fantastic week hun! Take care and sending hugs as always xx
Always my lovely 😘 Hourglass figure probably one of the easiest to style hun, you’re very lucky. By the sounds of it lots of people would like to see this one so I shall definitely film it. Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend Nikki, did you do your exercises today? I begrudgingly did mine then ate a Krispy creme😩 I need to get back in the wagon next week🙌🏻 Big hugs x
@@FashionStyleEdit oh really? I did find it hard to find jeans that fit both hips and my waist but the ones you’ve recommended have been a game changer! Thank you 😘 Ooh lovely! Will look forward to that video hun. It’s my day off today, I am aching from yesterdays legs and glutes! Ouch 😂 I’ve been managing 6 days a week and a dog walk everyday which is between 2-4 miles. I feel so good for staying consistent with it. Haha it’s ok to have a treat hun! Hugs back x

Love your tips ❤being the best version of yourself definitely makes you look polished in my opinion
So glad you enjoyed the video and couldn’t agree more x
Hi Jess
Thanks for the tips...lots to think about. I have a chaotic approach that needs work. The tip that resonates the most with me is to get one special piece per season instead of a few that are just so so. I think that sounds like a very good plan that should increase the pleasure while decreasing the less meaningful consumption.
Enjoyed your sleek and classic style video. Thank you

Great video.
Thank you so much Susan x
Thank for this video. Very helpful. I wondered if you could link your hand held steamer? I bought one and it soaked my clothes! I also wondered if you would consider doing a vegan edit? So many of us now avoid wool, silk and leather but still want good quality, chic non-polyester clothing.
Wonderful!!!!💛🧡💚💙💜🤎
I love your high waisted trousers . Where do you get them? You look good in them.
😄 Xxx

Thank you 😘

It’s my day off today, I am aching from yesterdays legs and glutes! Ouch 😂
I’ve been managing 6 days a week and a dog walk everyday which is between 2-4 miles. I feel so good for staying consistent with it.
Haha it’s ok to have a treat hun!
