    Hi Nadya! Is this $110K scholarship awarded annually, or is it just a one time grant for all four years of your undergraduate program?

    • @nadventures
      @nadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's for all four years!

    Hey Nadya! I'm a grade 9 pre-ib student with a 99% average and am interested in the model un. Are there any tips you can provide that could help enhance my skills?

      Hey there, I only have one suggestion: just do it! The more conferences you attend and the more prep work you do, the better you will be at it naturally.
      Just make sure to speak up and actually participate in conferences :))

    What questions do they ask in the half-hour interview on the scholarship?

    Hello Nadya? Is it hard to get the scholarship every year because as far as I know the scholarship is offered to you under a certain condition that is a good GPA. I heard that it is quite hard to get a good GPA. Can you relate your experience. Thanks so so muchnin advance❤❤❤

    • @nadventures

      Hi! Based on profiles of my school seniors and juniors who got this scholarship too, yes you need good grades and a few CCAs. But relative to perhaps going into really prestigious US unis (think top 20 unis), getting this scholarship is easier in my opinion. You don't need to be valedictorian or have very very impressive CCAs.

    I love your videos, very helpful ❤️ but I have a question I'm moving to Canada to start university in September 2023 I did 6 Igcse and I'm now doing my A-level exams, I still didn't sit for the exams and I want to apply for university and scholarship!! Hello! Can you specify your question? I'm not sure what ur confused about. Oh also, I know a friend who applied to UofT before he got his a-level results, so it's definitely possible!

    Is it to get scholarship you must maintain all grade 90 or above in grade 9,10,11 12. Or just final grade 11,12.Please let me know? By the way, did you take SAT? How much you score ?

    • @nadventures

      I think there is no clear cut off for grades. Also, I did not take the SAT.

    Hi, I’m wondering if applying for early decision before November 7 could increase my chances of receiving a scholarship. Do you have some information about it? Thank you in advance

    • @nadventures
      @nadventures  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, I don't think Canadian universities gave early decision (at least during my time 😅). Early decisions are usually just for US unis.
      I don't have any info to be really honest, but I think early decisions only affect admissions, and don't affect scholarships much.

    I recently got an offer from UofT Faculty of Life sciences and got awarded the $100k international scholar award, but after looking at the total costs for the year, i realise that i cant even afford the money that's left. Any advice on what to do?

    • @nadventures
      @nadventures  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, sorry, I'm not sure of the other options. Perhaps, you can try find some financial aid or apply to other universities instead? (Considering you got the 100k, you probably have good enough achievements to get full scholarship in other less competitive unis)
      Just to share my experience, I also realised that it was cheaper for me to go to Singapore compared to Canada, and it was one of the supporting factors that made me decide to go for NUS.

    • @nadventures
      @nadventures  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Sadia_Hamdan For international students, Toronto costs 60k+ a year, while NUS is 32k+. Undergraduate.

    • @nadventures

      Hi, it is not the Pearson scholarship. If I remember correctly, Pearson is a full scholarship and is way more competitive. I did not apply for it as we had to write a lot of essay and it was exam period for me.
