Yeah it was scary at first but it was very satisfying knowing I got all the rust out. Also better to do it sooner since the rust could spread.

Did you throw away the old trim and molding that came on the og windshield? Hope you kept it lol those few trim pieces are like 400 bucks, it's ridiculous. But you shouldn't need it anyways. Oh and did the rust ever come back?
The windshield had been replaced so the trim was aftermarket too. Also no rust :)
@@meetmario6857 ohh okay, I have the original windshield and trim but I want to have it replaced and have modern RTV, so there is less chance of rust, also I think the original molding likes to trap water. Can you send me a link to where you got the aftermarket trim? Thanks.
