Love the Cestus. I particularly love Meng Ben's Charge and Wuhuo's Stomp. They allow me to roleplay Heihachi and Paul Phoenix. A shame that this new "surplus spirit level" system is just for Cestus. It would have been great if it was universally applied to all weapons.
Great work, I was hoping to find a comprehensive list of these at some point, so kudos for putting the work in. I have to say that Yurang's Blast is probably my favorite art for Cestuses so far. It's nice having an option for hassling at range which Cestuses otherwise have issues with aside from closing the gap. One thing I found is that Elemental Weapon wizardries work phenomenally for applying elements **very** quickly when matching correctly. Usually within one light attack combo, and that final hit has ridiculous accumulation. On top of that, their ridiculous ~145% deflect difficult makes it so satisfying when you deflect a critical, spirit strike in retaliation, and still manage to deflect the counter critical; made Cao Cao a ridiculously satisfying breeze.
@@LasttoLoad Yes, that's this game's version and they made it unique for itself here but I still feel they took a chunk of the original BI and just threw it in here as that other skill.
cestus is also high with deflect difficulty which is why it has very low spirit attack dmg and break to balance things out so it is recommended to have a heavy weapon as secondary.
I have gotten a few cestus and I never get ones with the good moves. Every one has this. And I am still a little confused. So before an attack you buff up and then counter? I assume the goal is to counter a red attack and that gives you spirt
@@LasttoLoad I forgot, it's been a bit since I played. I thought a few skills that end with you in the air could lead into aerial skills but I guess I'm wrong. I know I saw it in the patch notes for sword at some point but I also noticed that there were no aerial skills for that sword type to use (heaven's reliance). What an oversight they did.
If that last one was a martial arts counter attack then I didn't see the follow up. I see u activated it and the enemy used a power attack but then all I see is just the basic parry animation u do with O button when parrying that type of attack.
He probably bought the season pass and didn't know the game was going to be crap like all the rest of us. And he's doing his diligence and keeping his own high quality videos even for a game that degenerated like Wo Long. He's doing the right thing.
@@normalguycap nah you could tell that it was gonna be crap by playing the demo (well, assuming it actually ran on your system if you're on PC lol) or watching the gameplay trailers.. Sadly, there are people who are die-hard Team Ninja fans (yes, that's a thing, unbelievable I know) who buy everything they release and thus enable their shitty, lazy practices by throwing money at them regardless of quality..
@@wallacesousuke1433 I forgot about the demo, so yeah, you're right there. Gameplay trailers is a big fat obvious No though. Those are always highly scripted and curated, not any indication of the reality. Yeah I hate fans with no sense or standards too. Much worse in the souls series since Team Ninja basically hasn't made anything new or good since Nioh. It sucks how easily it is to be duped by corporations. They do one thing a little decently and it's easy to get hopes up.
Deflect counterattack is now fixed since dlc2 update, and should be working similar to every other weapons.

I really like Qingji's leap + Yurang's blast combination it's satisfying. You can use Yurang's blast while in mid-air after Qingji's leap
What a gorgeous moveset!!!
I feel Jianli's strike was a chunk taken from Beyond Infinity in Nioh 2 and made it's own skill here. I could be wrong, I didn't check.
its Xia Yu's Rush that's similar to beyond infinity

This weapon is insane with spirit gain. Add spirit fervor embedment or the spirit gain spell buff and it makes the black emperor set a joke.

That Fan Kuai counter is cool. The only other counter is Impenetrable Keep on Poleax. There is a sword one but it doesn't work against players.

It would have been cool to see the Yurang's blast or Ren Bi's crash after one of the aerial kicks.
yea, we can only use air skill one time unfortunately

Can you show the new Armor sets? I can't find them on internet.
Punch power!
What would you say is a good weapon to go along with the cestus?
at least a heavy weapon like dual halberd, halberd, slashing spear, hammer or axe as secondary weapon to balance your strength
This weapon probably breaks the game. It's innate properties grant it like 4 normal buffs you get from accessories or grace bonus.

thats basically a parry animation
How do i get pass level cap of 150?
How can I get that
When the dlc come out
its out already, just need to buy it and progress to find one
you... you paid for this?
Wdym?
to fund their next game rise of ronin
