I woke up just before game 4, and I'll catch up later, but I'm glad I made it in time to see Qpi's incredible solo win in the final game! Thanks for the watchalong! By the way, your position on the screen was great, it wasn't covering anything and we could see both you and the game. I'd like to see that during your own Apex streams too.
Thanks for watching all of VSaikyo! Yeah, Astel's a famous/infamous one in VSaikyo. It all started back in VSaikyo Season 4, where he was only allowed to participate under the condition that he only use Mad Maggie. With some coaching and creativity, Astel pulls it off to the point it really infuriated anyone who had the misfortune of encountering him in game. The 'Special Grade Curse' who ends up with 0 friends, and it had always stuck whenever Astel brings out the Maggie in CR Cup and future VSaikyo tournaments. It's chaos, and I love it.

Thank you so much for this watchalong!!! Before this, I wouldn't be able to follow the action of JP tourneys & would always rely on later clips. Not only were you providing English commentary, you created a place where English commenters could congregate and provide extra context, occasional translations & into from other POVs.
Looking fwd to future watchdog parties (and who knows, maybe one day you'll be a participant or host!!! You never know!!)

It's a shame a vspo team couldn't win but it was really close at the end. At least there were three champs between hinano/asumi/qpi's teams!

4:36:25 i find this tie breaker rule weird, if the 5th match placement deciding the winner, while tsuna team is actually winning in overall placement points, then theres no point for all teams to go serious in match 1-4th because the deciding match is the 5th with heavier kill points and tie breaker in placement.

its basically find a good spot to steal kill points from other teams while securing good placements, not minding whoever gets champion
what? thats literally every BR tournament tho, or at least its been that way in Vsai and CRcup this whole time
@@riessfeld7722 i saw liquipedia, the only case of tie in CR Cup apex is in the season 4 where the 2nd and 3rd place is same points,

VORUTO is given the 2nd even tho their placement is 16th on 5th match with total 22 kill which is lower than 心を燃やせ team got 8th placement on 5th match with total 26 kill. im confused if theres typo in the site
@@riessfeld7722 with match point system like in EWC, every teams that reached certain point will be fired up to snatch champion rather than ratting placement while gathering kp to win

That's the whole point in this tournament is to get enough points so they get to win overall win, they didn't need to get champs.
They're a Vtuber not proplayer so they didn't have time and stamina to play in match points system, since Hal also a Vtuber and a CEO he know that all the participant have others schedule so he always want his tournament clear in one day.
