I see you are using Solus OS on this video and was wondering which version you went with and what your customizations you are using.

Basically I'm to swap google account for mandatory /e/ account which is "at the center of the /e/ OS ecosystem". I don't think so.

8:30 Why didn't you view the Log? There's a massive button on the bottom to open it! 🤣 (I'm aware this is an old video by now, but it just boggles my mind why people don't read log files anymore.)

Mine doesn't seem to locate the device. It just says "Looking for your device…" I've followed the instructions but do you have any ideas what I might have missed?

Did you enable adb debugging? I'd check their website and see if your device is supported.

    Thanks for your video.
I've tried countless times to install /E/OS on a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus with Xynos chipset and it does not work.
The screen shots and instructions in the easy installer App bear no resemblance to the actual process.
I keep getting the same error.
    E: Signature verification failed
    E: error: 21
I've read some posts on the /E forum about the need to quickly swap from download to recovery mode and have tried all of this without any success.
What I can't understand is should the phone be booting into an E recovery screen or the stock Android recovery screen on the phone?
I wonder this because the instruction for ADB download has different wording to what is on the phone screen.
There are no screenshots in the app and I can't find any information of the forum.
Do you have any advice please?

Same here it kinda doesn't do anything in the oem step

    • @DTheoL
      @DTheoL 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

I found out that you have to wait before leaving the install step. So give it 5 of so minutes before pressing volume down and the others to leave the oem screen...

Just installed /e/ on a Pixel 4a for my 13 year old. It is "teenager approved" and, once there was a good converesation at the phone store that didn't involve them selling me a phone (the USA is terrible about this) it was an easy transition. If he breaks it, it is just another ~$60 for a new phone. Considering deploying them for my company.... this is the stopgap non tech users were looking for until we get easy to use linux phones (but, with the challanges they have, it might always be 2 years away)

Hi friend, I have a gitlab account and I try to download the source code from / e / OS, / e / OS has a gitlab home page, it won't let me access and if I try to create another account it says as if it needs T___T permissions , I wanted to compile my own rom for my phone and it doesn't leave anything, what can I do?
