For anyone confused, aPAD actually contains 6% pure PAD (20% of a solution called Azeclair that contains additional ingredients). I think it’s very unlikely this Ordinary serum contains 15% PAD and would love to know where that info comes from.
I'm very tempted to try this out - I've recently incorporated azelaic acid into my routine and have really been finding it helpful. Plus this serum has NAG and ectoin - this could be a winner...

I wonder how this compares with Dr. Shah’s “Remedy for Pores.” Supposedly addresses all the same things (sebaceous filaments, oil production, oil control, pore size/strength). From what I can recall, gets to it with a very different set of actives. I don’t think Remedy is available in the UK yet, though, not sure but I think it will be.

There seems to be too many products out there that promise too much. I'm sure this young guy can suggest a great daily regime for us ageing men. Anyway I hope MAS gets to move into his new studio soon.
This serum is AMAZING. It’s transformed my oily congested skin. It really does everything it claims. It’s like no other acne treatment on the market. I wish this was available when I was younger.
❤ Time to get this and their new milky toner! I am going through an adapolene purge at the moment (found a cruelty free version) so I plan on using the toner on my body and serum on my face…thank you for the advice as always Rob 🤗

Lactic acid 10% + marine hyaluronoc + argireline 10 % + niacinamide 10% + multipeptide 2.lactic acid + marine hyaluronic + aloe 2%+ nag 2% 3.glycolic acid 7% toner + ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate + matrixyl Nighttime routines 1. Salicylic acid mask 2% 2.im trying every single night Retinal. Just one day I stop and I do the salicylic mask All the routines are followed up by a moisturizer and I repeat and repeat every week. I appreciate your feedback ☺️

❤ I’m definitely going to give this a whirl and wanted to say a huge thanks for the video you did a few weeks ago about massaging a thick moisturiser into black heads. I’m not going to lie I was sceptical and had avoided rich lotions and cream around my nose as it was shiny and looked awful and I didn’t want to add fuel to the fire. I think I have spent a couple of mins about 10 times now really giving it a firm massage in and it’s really helped. Will be adding this and I’m really greatful for the in depth review and for taking the time to share all of this information 🤩

I've got a question for you. I know I'm late to the party on "glass skin" but I recently watched a vid here by another popular skin care content creator and he looked like a glazed donut. I understand wanting to minimize pores and having a fresh dewy complexion like a baby, but what baby looks like they've been dipped in oil? So... is "glass skin" really supposed to look that shiny?
It seems like a nice serum, so I'll try it out eventually but really annoys me that as you said, PAD is one of the most important ingredients in this formulation yet it's not mentioned in the description on The Ordinary's website!
Great review....again ❤ the one problem i don't have is with my pores, small and only have the very odd blackhead. So this one i will skip. Love the Ordinary though. Something i would be very interested in is a video about the best way to layer all your different serums, creames etc. I always feel a bit uncertain when it comes to that. Love xx

Thanks for this review, fellow anti-pore warrior here... I recently bought the Allies of Skin (with your code, ha!), and I do like it a lot. I specifically like that you can mix it in with your moisturizer to streamline your routine. Do you think this would be possible with The Ordinary product, too? I do Vitamin C, Azelaic Acid, Moisturizer (with AoS mixed in), Sunscreen in the morning, and Retinoid, Moisturizer (with AoS) at night. Definitely tempted to try The Ordinary after I've emptied the AoS, purely for monetary reasons.

They are different in terms of ingredients but I would say this one is more comprehensive as the PC one just relys on salicylic acid which is effective but a little more basic.. I would go for this one over PC personally x

Can this be used with the likes of Hyaluronic, niacinamid’s salicylic acid?! Also can you use this with the ordinary soothing and barrier support serum (comes in a pink liquid)
OK. I use Niacinamide, BHA, AHA, Retinol, Milky Toner... and another thousand TO products. None of these shrink my disgusting, hated, huge pores. I don't believe that there is anything that can do that. 😢
@@MadAboutSkin my daughter and her husband live in Paris now, will need to wait for them to visit💜. Before they married, she was very good at sending him around to shop and bring the goods over. Luckily he enjoyed doing that for her, he’s a gem.

@@MadAboutSkin my daughter and her husband live in Paris now, will need to wait for them to visit💜. Before they married, she was very good at sending him around to shop and bring the goods over. Luckily he enjoyed doing that for her, he’s a gem.

I can't forgive them for these new higher prices... Same is happening with Cosrx since big company purchased them, they raised prices too
