CSH really reminds me of a modern day Talking Heads. I’d love to see them do a show like Stop Making Sense where they slowly build up the stage with a new instrument each song
For me, the thing that makes a concert special is the crowd. It feels magical being in the middle of a bunch of people just having a great time in front of a band that they love. I understand that artistically, you want to provide a special & unique experience but that's what the crowd brings, because music is intensely personal & everyone is living out their connection to your music in a really communal environment.
Will does what most great musicians do, he channels those artists he loves in a more conceptual as opposed to a musically derivative way. Which means you don't need to care for his musical taste to love his band.
