Deadman mode is a game mode where you put hours on to hours playing only to be ddssoed or logged off at no fault of your own. Yep I think that sums it up.
And yet somehow the best players make it every time and don't get unlucky like that all the time. It's not luck, they have better strategy and are more careful. Ur doing some wrong sorry to say

I really wanted this to just be a video of a confused OSRS team asking the playerbase what Deadman mode is.

they shoulda had it professionally done, its to long anyone that clicks on a advert to see what its all about will get bored real quick. or just simply click off. its gotta be quick and exciting and not fill u up with backstory that doesn't matter, like how we asked for a server?? in the first 2 mins it shoulda already covered the prize money the amount of time u have and it shoulda had more shots of straight insane kills and action packed moments. though for a game that's combat is based on the game doing it all for u its hard to show action unless u already play, where as rs3 would be beter off with that sort of video since the combat system is interactive and can be made to look intense like how they do in black desrert online adds or world of Warcraft ones, even though Black desrerts very much different since u don't realy have abilities u just have keys to press so I guess u cant really compare the two since u don't have to wait for a time to pass to launch the next attack in other words its a ton of key mashing
Deadman is logging out in the final hour after you spent hours and hours preparing for it

RSPS Jake Lol? The DCs don't happen every tournament. Quit whining, move on.. shit happens they didn't want it to happen.. it is a game not life or death get the sand out of your clam.
They happen every tournament... Not as large a scale as last tournament, but they do and whether or not its "just a game" is irrelevant. People spend 100s of hours to compete and get fucked over before the fog even reaches the final area and I don't know whether they want it to happen or not, just seems with chris archies smug face 24.7 that he'd do anything just to get what he wants.
Excuse my ignorance, I play OSRS but I'm not aware of that happening only this instance with the large amount of people that DC'd. I feel you on people pouring a lot of time in it only to have it stripped from them without them being able to do anything about it. I would sure hope they didn't "want it to happen" since it upset a lot of people as you know. Hopefully they can do something from that happening again but I don't want to hold my breath on that thought.. it really does suck that it went down like that I don't play DMM but I love watching the tourneys.

Deadman mode is a game mode that the vast majority of the playerbase is not allowed to participate in, and if per chance you do happen to be invited, You'll probably get auto logged on the final day and disqualified randomly. Runescape is not meant to support a game type like dmm, and Jagex isn't going to support their whole player base in experiencing this game mode. Deadman mode is so incredibly niche and set up in such a way that people literally avoid sleep just to grind out the short tournament. It's ludicrous on too many levels for me to ever support it.
I was looking for a video to explain DMM to me. Couldn't find one and settled on this video. I was so happy to hear Torvesta's voice at the beginning.

this mod is awsome , one thing tho i belive the xp boost should be reduced for players in clans joining in a clan adds saftey and while it shouldnt be stoped there should be more rewards as a solo

rs3 has way more players, its has the same amount as osrs, jagex said it many times, osrs is done growing everyone that has nostalgia googles strapped to there face is already here. and those that don't have them welded on are starting to leave or check out rs3 cause there tired of crap end game content or having to make a army of alts to keep them self interested since the only thing really fun about osrs is the leveling part after that u get to fight gwd bosses and some mid level bosses and raids. that's like 3 things to keep u occupied for endgame content

The main problem as to why I don't have any motivation to play Deadman Mode is because of having to re-do quests. Yes, quests are easy, but they're very time consuming especially for the decent rewards such as D scim, Ancients, etc etc. If Jagex ever make it so that players can unlock required quests without actually having to do them, then I'd feel more inclined to play it but I know that will never happen because questing and getting to the places is part of the deadman mode hype - like when pkers camp certain quest areas and such.
