    I noticed something while playing the intro. Since the song is in the key of D, the intro is in the same scale. the fingering of the 3-4 is a D, the 5-5 is an Em, the 7-7 is F#m (you would go up from there to get G on 8-9, A on 10-11 etc.) The notes on the 2nd string are the root notes and the notes on the 4th string are the 3rd notes (or flat third for minor.) so for D you have D on the 2nd string 3rd fret and F# on the 4th string, 4th fret., etc.

    Hi there... thank you so much for this lesson!! Love it!! I'm wondering if you have any suggestion for how to eliminate the "scratch noise" when sliding along the guitar strings? I'm not sure if it's my callouses but it's very loud and competes with the sound of the changing notes. Would love to be able to hear the lick better.

    • @LearnGuitarFavorites
      @LearnGuitarFavorites  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you liked the lesson! I don't know how to reduce the sliding noise. I always kinda like that noise. Maybe Google can give you some other ideas about that👍🎸

      @@LearnGuitarFavorites thank you!! Your sliding sound sounds really nice... mine on the other hand sounds scratchy 😬😅. But I did find some things that help.. like moving more a more fleshy part of the finger . Thanks so much for taking the time to reply 💝. Enjoy your videos very much!!!
