In this VNL 2023, South Korean women volleyball should reconsider their techniques, they are not the same as in their national league! Respect for both teams, they are doing well to represent Asian women, plus Chinese women of course!

Its obvious that Korean players are taller than Japanese.. even they can not stop Ishikawa, Inoue and Hayashi despite their height are below 180 cm.....
tbh from my pov japan didn't even play that well particularly their sets and their errors, but yet to have a score like 25-13? Sarina Koga(nishida) barely even played, their best player. Idk but maybe VNL should seriously consider relegating korea if they are worse than croatia this year

Sarina Koga is nothing like Nishida. They literally play nothing alike.
Japan never plays all that well, they're a mediocre team with one solid player(Koga). Korea is just straight up garbage.
@@shadowmoth6616 But this only supports the argument that they should be relegated. Croatia has improved tremendously and has beaten Korea 3-0 this year. It is sort of embarrassing for a core team like Korea to lose to a team who just joined the VNL.

Last year, South Korea was at the bottom, but it was difficult for them to participate. Belgium is better. South Korea is not a permanent member of volleyball. Since the ace Kim was gone, the strength has dropped considerably. The International Volleyball Federation will have to think about it if it becomes the last place again this year.

South Korea without Kim Yeon-gyeong would be a different team.
The problem for Korea is not their Coaches but the development of players. Too much rely on senior players.
For Japan, congratulations on winning this match. But seki setter really have up and down. Japan Hinotori since Manabe take over as HC seem falling Idk whyy while Japan men team since blain becoming their HC is getting better

Tbh, I’m not that pessimistic about Kor. They played decently in the third set and showed improvement compared to last year. Their block reading were initially poor, but they gradually found the rhythm. However, receiving and defense are still major issues
On the contrary, I actually think JP didn’t perform very well. Their self-errors and defense didn’t resemble JP’s usual style (you know what I mean)
I think they just didn’t take Korea seriously
