เก่งจริงๆทีมชาติญี่ปุ่น รูปร่างก็ไม่ได้สูงใหญ่ แต่สู้กับทีมตัวใหญ่ๆได้สบายเลย จนวันนี้เกือบชนะด้วยซ้ำไป
ปกติเขาชนะเยอรมันมาตลอดนะครับ ถ้าจำไม่ผิด ไม่เคยแพ้เลยในช่วง 10 ปีมานี้ เพิ่งมาแพ้

I totally agree with this comment. I am for team Japan but it was just quite disappointing to watch some of their matches where they almost gonna win but sadly coach Manabe didn't seem to give the floor to his other players like Miyu Nagaoka and Shimamura who were veterans.

Germany played better and better. Unfortunately they are still unstable in reception. Pogany is deserve to be MVP in Germany side.
In Japan side, they are so solid in defending, nice rhytm and smart setting.

Japan’s block quality need improving more
Yes they need tall blockers and more outside/opposite hitters that are taller than 1.80 cm
Even though they have some tall blockers, manabe didn‘t put them in the team roster so far

Y'all need to stop criticizing team japan, u must put it on ur minds that not all the times they will win, becoz a lot of teams had upgraded and they already knew how to stop them and also japan still doing a great job becoz they made it to 5 set match, in the other hand germany also played well, they minimize japans attackings through their net defense and also their floor defense but their passing is still not good but they still able to get a lot of points.. and also they won the match becoz of their height advantage.

Japan would just be unstoppable if they would have more tall middle blocker and tall outside/opposite spiker but other than that they don‘t lack in anything. This game their defense was not really good and they got blocked all the time. 😭

After almost losing to Korea yesterday, the same members are in...Koga sucked again, the libero sucked, andHayashi hasnt played well in a while. And only bringing in Ishikawa in the 5th set hoping for a miracle after she's been sitting on the bench all evening... Where are all the other players??

For the first set, yes, but overall Koga did great, IMO. Germany could've swept them if not for her service run and and her out of system attacks in the 2nd set. I think the problem lies with Manabe. He does not make early in-game adjustments like calling an early timeout or video challenge, and using his subsitutions well.

@@ceciliawang6541 I agree. Her sets are too predictable. She does not distribute the ball well as she tends to set it more to the wings rather than the middles even in a perfect receive so the opponent most of the times were just waiting to block the wing spikers. Also her toss tends to become lower as rallies go by even in a combi play thus leaving no room for her spikers to adjust and the result will simply be a stuff block or hitting error.
