Ok, so in a few hours I pick up our English Springer Spaniel.... and we are so excited, and scared at the same time.... it's been 14years since our last puppy, so fingers crossed.... LOVED the tips will definitely try them :)
Thank you for this you legend. Keep em coming I need you
Love this channel so much!❤️🐾
Just found your channel and love the theory. I have just collect Hamish the Sprocker a week ago and have been going out regularly and will now switch to your guidance. What about through the night? How do you help the puppy then.
Hi Will! I'm loving this channel and already learning a lot. Last week my family and I received our first puppy (american cocker spaniel, eight weeks old) into our apartment and we're trying to potty train her with diaper mats just until we get her vaccinated and finally can take her out to the park. Nonetheless that's going to be possible just until mid-february so for now we have to keep her in the apartment. We are all putting efforts into positive reinforcement when she does it on the mats, when she doesn't we ignore her for ten minutes but sometimes like after a nap she wanders a bit while we watch her and seeks a hiding spot to poop or pee on. This is especially difficult at night when we're all asleep, so she does it anywhere she wants to. What would you recommend us to do? Thank you very much for your help!! It is an amazing thing what you've got going with Fenrir, best wishes and regards from Bogotá, COL
I barely know what I’m doing but I’ve had two ESS and they both only took a week or two. It ain’t that hard with them. They’re smart and eager to please.
Hi Will when you say take your puppy out "on the hour every hour", what about through the night? do you wake them up every hour
We would say to remove the water about an hour before bedtime and then take them out for a wee before bed. This should help get them through the night!

Do you keep the pup in a crate??
Hi just wondering if we should have a puppy pad in the crate with our dog at night?
Hey Sam, thanks for watching! We actually have a more recent upload over on our main training channel looking at day and night time tips for toilet training you might find helpful: th-cam.com/video/yZXwKH0ExBk/w-d-xo.html
How long should I wait until bringing the dog back inside if they haven’t gone to toilet outside?
Hi Will, I was just wondering are you please able to consider doing a channel dedicated to Dalmatians at all please. because your videos are so helpfull and informative and I am looking in to Dalmatians but there is so much controversy in what I'm reading and so I don't know what to belive.
One for the future for sure
