@EthaJeffaP_68 I think he might be great in memphis especially because they were last in points in the paint but I think his lack of shooting and perimeter defense might end up being a problem
Most unhinged comments I’ve seen in awhile. Regardless, the Edey love is warranted, bro is being overlooked because he seems too good to be true for the NBA.
For the Hornets, I agree taking Salaun at 6 is considered a reach, but first, somebody has to be willing to trade up for the trade-back scenario to work, news flash nobody wanted to, and the Spurs were 100% going to take him at 8. So they absolutely wouldn't have gotten him after pick 10. For how bad this draft was comparatively, I don't see the issue with taking a swing on somebody that can actually be more than a role player, for a team that frankly needs a lot more than 1 rookie to get to the playoffs.
Naw Tidjane was a good pick up bro, the spurs would’ve took him at 8 so the Hornets had to go and get their guy and it makes sense to take a chance in a “weaker” draft
@@dillamadukes21they drafted castle because he is a combo guard with scoring upside and great passing while being one of the best perimeter defenders in the draft. the spurs were a bottom defense without wemby on the floor and they need defense. adding dillingham only makes that worse. while, yes, dillingham can bring a lot of offensive firepower, castle can bring enough of that anyways. the spurs have vassell and wemby who are good at shot creation, they didn’t necessarily need another player like that (even though dillingham is probably a better shot creator) this is considered one of the weaker drafts in a while, so the spurs took the opportunity to get more trade assets to set up a bigger trade for some pieces around wemby, or they can get some good draft prospects DURING wemby’s prime in 2030-2031
@@anthonymaneclang7440Castle is just another Ben Simmons because he’s going to be a negative floor spacer and they should have gone with a shooting wing instead of a better version of Ben Simmons
I’d like to see y’all talk about any players from the 2023 draft who are going to be rookies in 24/25 for any reason and which of them could be relevant
It's really sad that bronn y has taken over so much attention in this draft I'm pretty sure the average person couldn't name me five other people that were drafted which is sad
The spurs picks is an "A" to me, his defensive tenacity and skills are a rare commodity plus the Spurs really need that extra defense. Their defense without Wemby is pretty poor.
Edey is not a bad pick, but just taken way too early imo, realistically none of the next 5+ teams were gonna take him, so why not trade down and get some assets in return
1pick C just because they were gona pick him? and then when alex sarr comes on the 2nd pick, when its obv hes either 1 or 2 in every instance, its all of a sudden "A obviously", hypocrits
@@1user-friendly He's slow, like, extremely slow and unathletic, he can't guard the perimeter, get back in transition, or run the floor well purdue literally had to run their team different just to accommodate this and cause of this nba teams are gonna try and target that sort of like how they pulled Gobert out of the paint in the playoffs but even worse cause Gobert is a good bit faster than Edey. He also has no scoring range or jumpshot and scores exclusively in the post and that can very commonly not translate to the league when you're playing against bigger, stronger, and better defenders than in ncaa. The fit in memphis specifically also just isn't good they have a lot of guys who like to drive and get to the rim on that team and Edey like I said can't do anything outside of the paint so he's gonna clog it on offense and make it harder. There's potential sure but there's a reason almost every professional analysis didn't mock him this high despite him putting up numbers in college he's got a lot of problems and issues with his game and physicals and it could be a lot harder to fix than the issues some of the other highly touted prospects have. He's a really risky, really boom or bust prospect.
It's funny how Isaac cant handle it when you guys don't agree with a take he makes. He looks like a child. At times he gets passive-agressive as if his opinion was absolutely the only truth. I'm sorry I cannot like him when he acts like that. And I do agree with many of his takes.
Not a fan of edey going this high. Poor footwork, terrible lateral movement, non shooter. Hes a post scorer which has been largely phased out of the nba, and relied on ft shooting in college for the majority of his points. His defensive game is very limited bc of his size. When he was forced to work harder against other good bigs in college he didn’t have the gas to be as effective towards the end of the half. He could obviously make improvements, but being one of the older prospects it’s hard to project as many improvements as some of the other guys.
Ok grandma, can't wait for him to show up and put a hater like you in silence 🤐🤐 He has charisma unlike you, and I'm sure not 1 person gives a damn about what you have to say

His name's Robert not robin lmao
I fully agree with Issac's glazing of Edey. He fits so great in Memphis fr.
Stg a lotta common fans saying it ain’t gonna work they gonna do crazy work this season 🔥
i dont know how good the fit will be because the paint is packed for Ja
@EthaJeffaP_68 sure but fit wise edey isnt perfect in memphis.
@EthaJeffaP_68 I think he might be great in memphis especially because they were last in points in the paint but I think his lack of shooting and perimeter defense might end up being a problem
@EthaJeffaP_68 I think if his teammates and coaches do give him a good jumpshot and help his defense then he will be the steal of the draft
Absolutely love what you guys have been working on lately, feels chill but fun. Love the content guys
Isaac buying that Knecht 4 Jersey when?
Go ahead and check out Tidjiane last season highlight and re-grade this pick, the kid is CLUTCH

This draft just felt like a lot of good fits even though it wasn’t the strongest draft.
It was a draft of perfect role players. Thats a good thing
Yea I feel like it’ll be a under rated class
Naw Tidjane was a good pick up bro, the spurs would’ve took him at 8 so the Hornets had to go and get their guy and it makes sense to take a chance in a “weaker” draft
Spurs drafted defense they needed that definitely a+ pick if he's able to play well
The team traded the most dynamic offensive talent in the draft for a middle schooler. That’s not an a+ grade in my book.

Blazers walked away with two #1 picks this draft.
Cody Williams is a steal at 10.
rob dillingham is the goat
The reason hornets took him at 6 was cause spurs and blazers would have taken him if we didn’t so he wouldn’t have fell

The Grizzlies wanted to trade up for Clingan but they couldn’t get a trade done so Edey was their best option
If he's your guy pick him. They really needed a center. Why gamble by trading down, nothing is guaranteed?
spurs were thinking about taking salon at 8 so the hornets stuck with their pick
