I really was hesitant on the interior look of the new mini from the blog post earlier but I would have to say now looking at the videos I love it.
I am not so sure about the exterior, especially because of the taillights and the lack of air vents but the interior is absolute perfection!
I despise the outside but love the interior.
Still not sold on it, looks like a plate was glued to the dash🍽️
I have to say - i liked the one we have now much better. - it has more personality in the design. - - and the interior …. Seemed better in the one that drives everywhere now. ….
A round dial in car just makes so much sensesense!

We just leased a 2024 MINI Cooper S 4 Door Hardtop with Signature trim in Zesty Yellow with white hood stripes but OMG is this interior only for their electric model? I certainly hope not because the range on their electric is too short. We live in Wisconsin and cold compromises batteries. I think I heard you say this is the interior for the electric. Again I sincerely hope it is not for electric only. Any idea when this iteration will be released in the States? Thanks!
Having driven a Tesla for the last 12 months with inbuilt maps & Spotify I don’t miss CarPlay

it's stylish and really beautiful but I see only Apple CarPlay, is Android Auto supported?

that "iphone connected" on the left is pretty useless waste of screen estate.... should be just an icon next to signal strength icon... i hope (and assume) there could be displayed something else.
however im digging the central display, finally a hi tech form and size..... but that cheap HUD.... that panel under the display is a mess. zero consistency, 5 different shapes/forms...
I thought that as well but in my time with the car I saw a demo where it showed calls in progress and other functionality. Hoping/assuming that makes production.
Someone likes the sound of their own voice. Talked over the whole sound design piece, after saying let's have a listen 😂
So no speedometer above the steering wheel?
HUD
One of the things I didn’t like about a Tesla, but with the HUD on my mini I found myself not using it anyway so not a big issue for me.

OK, its modern,it looks fine, but I think its style over function. What will happen when the screen fails? You loose EVERYTHING! And it will fail, in nowadays cars, things will fail very quickly!
Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I miss fisical buttons/switches!
I think important, quick access, things should be off the screen.
Don’t want to open settings to adjust the AC, change mode, or emergency lights.
So far it looks better than a Tesla, where pretty much everything is on the screen, “don’t use ur phone while driving”.
And yea unfortunately things these days are built to die after a set duration so u would buy a new one,.
I think it looks too simple. I liked the old one better bc of all the knobs and buttons and the curved lines in both exterior and interior. Mini loosing it's soul, IMHO
Apple Watch on steroids
Smoke and mirrors. We don’t need video games, custom wallpapers, and a virtual mascot. BMW lost their soul and it’s leaked into MINI too.
