Hi, love your content. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how brittle the iPhone backs are and how it can be improved and why they purposely build them like that
I still think if someone call themselves as professional photo or videographer then they should have professional cameras, iphone still cant compete professional cameras.
I like what you're doing here, subscribed! Do you have a video on how to sell your devices when upgrading? Trade in prices are low and private sales e.g. on ebay can be a headache if the buyer is not well behaved! I imagine it's not worth trying to refurb before selling either? Thanks :)
Honestly I just sell privately. Here in Austria we have quite a good site (willhaben.at) which has some decent buyer and seller protection that actually works good. Never had a real problem.. Otherwise yeah, trading in is seldomly worth it unfortunately
I'm hoping to be able to buy the 13 for my wife and i because we are on a very, very tight budget. I think it should still be good for another 3 years after which time I'd look to sell it and maybe get the 16.
You won't do anything wrong with the 13! Just watch out for the battery..when buying used / refurbed I would try to have it above 90% capacity. All the best man!
Curious about your 5 year old phone criteria. Looking at the Small Phones category for instance, the 13 Mini is just a better device than the SE 3, with the same chip and RAM. I’d imagine that the extra year of ownership (3rd year) the Mini would still be better than the SE despite not being calculated for that long.
i have a ip12pro for just playin fc mobile and normal calling and the battery it's just 8/10. IDK why it just drop but it's the best one for me in that price in vietnam (around 10 million VND).
As a videographer I can say the 16 pro is the first Iphone with usable slomo, that alone makes it an easy buying decision for me. And imho the battery is good enough already, so no need for the max version.
would buying a iphone 6s and then going to a iphone se 2 then iphone se 3 work? like once the phone gets too out of date get the next model, i got basic phone usages, and i like one handed phones, and apple seems most able to support devices and keep value
So I bought an iPhone 8 in Feb 2021. Just bought the XR like 3 weeks ago. It’s been fine. I wish I had gotten the more premium end of the X series tho. iPhone SE 3 is a great phone and I just learned that it’s an iPhone 8 on the outside but with the hardware of the 13. 13 is a really amazing phone, and I suspect they’re going to get cheaper since Apple announced that they are going to stop manufacturing them

The 13 and 14 do have to same Chip. Therfore, I would always pick the 13.
That is true but the buying price / cost of ownership is very similar and you do get a slightly better camera + crash detection

12 Pro is certainly good! And definitely feels more premium than my 13 :)

iPhone 6s seems honestly a bit wild..if you can stretch it I would at least look at an iPhone 8, better yet an SE
