Want to turn on auxiliary lights when you turn on your headlights or fog lights? Here's how to do it. This will allow you to tie in aftermarket lights, be it a light bar, fog lights, additional driving lights and more, into your current light system to control the lights with current buttons or switches in the car. I cover wiring and the circuit you'll have to make, including grounds, power, splices, relay trigger wire, and more. If your lights are set to automatic, will whatever you splice into the low beam come on when low beams are triggered by the sensor and be off when they are not triggered by the sensor?

What is better ground? Negative pole of the battery or a metal piece on the chassis as you did?

To the chassis would be best and shortest route.

Hi good morning I have Honda civic sedan and I connect plug and play harness to my fog lights .
There is additional wire on my aftermarket fog lamps which need to connect with daylight running light please give me some advise what is the best solution .
If I connect only fog lights direct to battery will it works ?

What about if you want to use a switch

If you wire the switch inline with the wires for the lights you want to have switched, then it will do the same thing

I only saw one yellow wire which goes to power from high beam to one hella light. so aren’t u suppose to have another yellow wire going from the other big beam to the. Otehr hella light?

Sounds like you have the dual-function bulb with low and high beam. So, the three wires are low, high and ground. Just use DVM to check when you have the high beam turn on.
