Great video, very informative. Your narration is great for everyone who knows the terms that you are using. It may be helpful to do a video defining the technical terms that you are using for all of the people who can not understand. I know that remedial courses have helped me in the past.
Can we charger the li-ion Battery with Regulated power supply by keeping the Voltage and current parameters as per system standard c rate and voltage ..Is it safe method?? Kindly clarify Brother...
If what I got is a 60V dc supply 1000W with no regulation whatsoever, what can I do to regulate current at 5A and voltage at 58V from it so I can charge a 14S? Is there a DC-DC regulator capable of cccv out there thats portable enough to do it?
The graph of Vin remains at the same level throughout CC and CV charging, if the supply voltage is fixed, how does the charging controller maintain the constant voltage in CC mode?
I mean, when load trying to pull current higher than limited on PSU, it goes to CC mode and lowers the voltage to the one at which it will draw a limited current.
Nice! The process for charging a large-scale battery (power grid application) is the same? If so, how is the battery charged when the input is constantly varying (absorbing power)?
@@FoolishEngineer thank you for your answer! In large-scale battery (range of MW) for applications in power systems, it is said that the battery can instantaneously (almost; in the range of miliseconds) change from absorbing mode to injection mode (absorbing or injecting power to the grid). How can this be so fast if the charging process that you showed must follow all of the appropriate steps? This is the part I don't quite understand. And in the large-scale battery, the value of the power being absorbed/injected can be controlled to any specific value. How can this be achieved without violating the specifications of the charging process tha you showed? Thank you again.
@@FoolishEngineer I have subscribed already. I need to make a CV and CC charger for Hybrid cars battery repairs can you please help me with this please?
Very nice but it's academic info. The main need today I guess is a practical acid 12v battery charger circuit but as simple as possible with such or a little bit lower specifications ...I searched the net up and down in vain ....if that inspires u to act I wish that u avoid complicated things please.thx a lot.
Shouldnt Vin steadily increase until it reaches Vmax during CC mode?
The best explanation on this topic! Thanks so much
Glad it was helpful!
I am Italian electrical engineering, you do beautiful video.
And is there and special ic that can do this
How does cccv charger behaves when battery is being used while charging?
Nice explanation. What are V-In and V-Batt? can you explain pl. thanks

CAN I LET THE BATTERY CONNECTED ALL THE TIME TO CHARGER? IN THIS CC CV CONFIG
Can i charge mye 14s6p battery pack with No bms?

I want to make 3s battery pack with 3s 20A bms but how can I recharge my 12v 3s battery pack. I want to use this battery pack in a diy router ups.

Will that destroy a lithium phosphate? When's design for lithium ion
Thank you sir .anser me please if the battry charge with CC mode what is the value of dc-dc voltage output
It depends upon the battery voltage
The graph of Vin remains at the same level throughout CC and CV charging, if the supply voltage is fixed, how does the charging controller maintain the constant voltage in CC mode?
It doesn't maintain constant voltage in CC mode
Very nice video, Thanks for sharing.
Does bms carry on this method while charging?
No
@@FoolishEngineer Can you tell me whether I can charge a 18650 battery of 3.7v using solar panel of 6v with using 1s bms protection board?
Hii sir please do the video on kalman filter method for Li-ion Battery....
Does resistance play any role in this? What are the advantages of using CC before CV?
I mean, when load trying to pull current higher than limited on PSU, it goes to CC mode and lowers the voltage to the one at which it will draw a limited current.
i search a lot but never found a video that is on detailed on DataSheets of components.
Very much informative and well narrated. Thanks a lot. I truly needed it.

Nice!
The process for charging a large-scale battery (power grid application) is the same? If so, how is the battery charged when the input is constantly varying (absorbing power)?
it works the same. But we need to add an AC-DC converter at the input for stability.
