*Love it! Keeps the room very **Fastly.Cool** . The manual states it comes with a year warranty and 5 year part replacement. The compressor makes the typical sound...small price to pay for AC.*

I enjoy your camera persona. Easy to follow and clear and concise with your instructions. My situation is similar but different. I have a standard wall switch but it must be at the end of the circuit as I only have one black and white wires

Clear and concise how to video. Much appreciated. Like the wrapping of the switch prior to stuffing it into the box.

What about using two wall switches? One for fan and one for light.

Does this apply to fan speed control and light dimmers on the wall switch too?

Hi, I would like to bypass the remote control module of my ceiling fan/light to be able to use a wall switch with 2 buttons (one to turn on the fan, and another to turn on the led light).
From my ceiling I got 4 wires: fan-light-neutral-ground
From the ceiling fan I have 5 wires: blue-white from the light, and black-red-white from the motor
Please let me know how to attach them together to achieve what I want. TIA!

Does this mean the fan can only run if the lights are on? I want the switch to control the lights and the remote to control the fan, independently.

Recently purchased this Wall control and need help how to wire for this (Model #F-WCBT-WT) switch and cant figure out how to connect the House wires with only 1 Black and 1White (And ground). The Wall Control device has 1 Black, 1 White, 1 Red and 1 Green (GND). I found on a blog somewhere that you just cap off the RED but that does nothing, the Fan will not operate with the Wall Control. I tried connecting the Red and BLACK from Wall Control to the house Black (Hot). No help.
Purchased this Wall Control for this Ceiling fan: Modern Forms FH-W2004-44L-MW Tip Top Indoor or Outdoor Flush mount Smart Home Ceiling Fan with Remote Control, 44in Blade Span, Matte White. (Per Install manual recommendation.). BTW - The fan works just fine with the Blue Tooth Remote. I wanted a wall Switch if the remote gets lost or grow legs and walks away.

What if power arrives into fixture box, instead of switch box, ( with same single pole switching and remote.) and then continues on to the next receptacle?

rowdydemon you need to pig tail The direct power from the box to the line feeding the next outlet to keep constant power flowing

No… but electrical tape is a lot cheaper than the ER, a Funeral, or a House Fire.
Less than $2 for several yards….. I’d use the tape kid
