I just started crocheting about two months ago, but this is my favorite one I've made so far! It was so easy to follow your video and the octopus is adorable!! I can't wait to make more! Thank you!! :)
Omgsh this is the cutest toy ever! My grandson is going to be obsessed with it ❤️ thank you so much for the in depth tutorials! I love recreating what you make!🥰
I love these so much!!! Your patterns are so easy to follow and so cute! It would be awesome if there was a jumbo pattern of this like with the turtles!
Super happy with the result, though the tentacles looked slender on mine. So I've done my own little upgrade on them : When all the tentacles were finished, 1) I took another yarn and began to sc each point of the initial chain -> almost until the end (18 or 19sc). 2) 1 sc in the middle of the tentacles to link the side of the initial chain and the side of the increases 3) on the backside of the the inc. side, I went upward using sc on each frontloop of the previous row. I repeated for each tentacles. Hope I was clear 😉 As my tentacles were to thin and weirdly curling, it gave them more depth ! 😉
Hi, I’m a fan of yours.😊 when you say x 6 (18) what does it mean? Like you put 2 single crochet in one hole? Til you get to the end? Enlighten me please, I would love to do these, Im just confused the counting.
the number in the brackets are the amount of stitches you should have at the end of the round and the x? is the amount of times u should do it to end up with (?)
when you crochet 1 SC, then 1 INC, and you have 12 stitches, basically only 6 extra stitches are added. if you were to only INC, then you would have 24 (12 + 12 = 24) because increases add 1 stitch per increase. since the amount of INCs are cut in half (because there's also SCs) you only get 6 more. (12 + 6 = 18) hope that helps!
@@IdkAnymore001yes, that’s what you do….1sc, inc…..1sc then in the next st you increase by putting 2 st in that same st and repeat all the way around gradually making it bigger.
@jeanloehrke435 TY!! I actually just risked it yesterday and I found a new pattern and I've been making a frog army!! I'm so happy!! But Ty for the clarification!!!!!🎀🎀
its octopus, a jellyfishes tentacles dont come from the sides of the head and are longer and many more, octopus is 8 tentacles coming from the side, this is an octopus
horrible angle. should be zoomed in more and should have been more specific on where the needle goes through with the sc in rows 1-8 because it looks like she's doing the back loop only but shes not??? and when she does do the backloop in row 9 you can't even see what she's doing because her hand is in the way!!!!! worst tutorial.....
I love how you put each row up on the screen, its so helpful and I wish other channels did it.
This is my favorite go to! Love her teaching and the instructions at the top that stay there through tutorial.

Can you use any yarn? Or does it have to be the chunky?

it is very easy to understand explanation is good i try to make it thanks mom
Fairly new to crochet. R3, sc, inc….what is the increase? How do you increase here?
increase is 2sc in one stitch
How did she increase 2 in each stitch if it went from 12 to 18 and not 12 to 24 @@julka184
So cute
I just dont get how it went from 12 to 18

Thank you love I made 3 and am using the same pattern to make boobie coosies
@artisticbirdies So are u saying u insert your hook, crochet 1 stitch, then increase in the next stitch and repeat? I'm also rlly confused on this..

Does anyone know if this is a 5 or 6 weight yarn? TIA!
I would assume it's 5
