They want players who create there own shots off the dribble (iso players). It would be the same if this format went on with Tim Duncan and players like stoudamire and KG but we all know they couldn’t hold Duncan’s bags. Superstars of this caliber don’t need someone to create for them, having the ball out of their hand just frustrates them anyway.

I'm shocked Giannis didn't take Jokic for his second to last pick. Up to that point, I thought it was brilliant to save Jokic for later and fill out with his top picks at the wing and at point knowing Lebron already took a his big in Embiid, but he forced Lebron's hand too much and ended up with Lauri instead which needless to say is a HUGE drop off from Jokic. Low-key feel like Giannis could have ended up with Mitchell anyway too for the last pick because if Lebron took Mitchell over Lauri that means he would have to match up against Giannis and play PF which I'm not sure if he would be down to do. Although it's a weird fit with so many ball dominant players, Lebron's starting line up definitely has way more talent than Giannis'. Who knows who'll win but I think Giannis' team would have been much better off with Jokic.
Pretty sure Giannis just thought Jokic would be available as the last pick for sure because no way Bron would take both centers. And I actually don't think Bron was going to, but Jokic just kinda forced his hand and he wasn't going to disrespect him at that point after he walked up to him. I think it was just super weird and insecure on Jokic's part. Like he just could not handle the thought of Lauri getting drafted before him and going last, even though he is back to back MVP.
