      Thank you so much for this ! I am pinning your comment.AI will render perfect and soulless...The feeling of human passion will never work...Being sentient is not truly feeling.The idea of AI orchestras is scary...I believe animals, including man, have always and should always be the main creators of music, not machines.....Cheers and thank you!

      We have much in common, since we both likely started out with classical training...and ended up revolting and we both played in gigging bands...I played with some of the old California early punk groups like X , etc...Then we both turned to 'traditional timeless" mindsets after this brief yet exciting period of tumult, and thus, this is who we are now....Stay Golden John...

      @ absolutely!! As a young 9 year old sitting in front of a 19” b/w tv....watching the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, my life changed then and there...of course I did not see it that way at the time, but the artistic juices were flowing, I started my path in music and art...I used what ever paper we had on hand to draw my Fab Four 😁😎🎸🎤🥁I remember using wax paper to draw on..lol oooo the memories 😁☺️

      @ I was born in 54, hmmmm that’s a tuff one, because I will abandon one for awhile to delve into a passion set aside, music first, then art became my focus, then John my favorite Beatle, instilled in me the art of playing w words....sooo by my late teens I enjoyed writing poetry, well more like feel sorry for me or hey your not on my plane move on lol....oooo once again the memories....I actually found some old poems and put simple guitar chords to them.... they filled a day or two for me 🤣🙃😇

      @@L.E.55472 Gosh you're like me, I was born in '53 and I remember seeing Ed Sullivan and the Beatles on TV too. I used to draw on whatever paper I could find. My father had a 3 foot stack of declassified "IBM Confidential" pre-release documentation from the IBM 360 in his den closet. My sister and I used to draw queens and princesses and horses on those when we were kids. We ignored the writing of course and turned the paper over to get a clean sheet to draw on.

    Some fine early work here. Good scholarship is evident as is good taste. In the 70s I was too old for you to bully, perhaps, but we would have had a solid basis for conversation. I would guess your classical training enhanced your pursuits in a rock band. I was always drawn towards classical, being not 'cool' enough for rock and never knew WTF to do with my hair.
    When did I realize creativity? Wandered into music study - grad school - wandered out. On my 70th birfday decided I was creative, discovered Musescore and did not much else for the past 6 years. I made a more important discovery - myself.
    Enjoyed my visit here.

Tara, tu as un talent incroyable. Quand John Lemon m'a conduit à ton art, j'ai été TRÈS impressionné. Merci d'avoir écouté certaines de mes anciennes archives musicales, mon ami. ;))))

    In Felix Mendelssohn's study was a bust of Bach.Felix was considered more of a prodigy than even Mozart, since he developed younger and wrote the famous Octet when he was 14-15, the same age as you were when you wrote these incredible works.Were you also studying Bach at the time? What did your teachers think of you? It's like you already arrived here as a fully mature composer when you were just a teenager! Hope I am not pestering you too much.I normally only make Facebook comments, but you are not on Facebook.

    • @SophiaMusik
      @SophiaMusik  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you. Yes, F.M was most amazing! I took my son to Germany long ago and we met with a professor who had an original manuscript of Mendelssohn's I still have the photo of it. I am on FB, but not really public and about to delete my accounts. I do not like the overreaching and constrictive profit driven soul sucking structure of both the social media platforms and the music world.But cheers Peter, anyway. These are just old pieces from a world I used to recognize....

    Its funny to see all the mythos surrounding you.I think your " screw off" attitude is a remnant of your punk rock days Tommy.
    "But boy could he bang those keys" Who taught you stride piano? You are better at that then your rococco.romantic fusions, which are pretty tasty Ludwig.
