- Die Chillies und ich waren zum ersten Mal im Schlachthof Wiesbaden unweit des Hauptbahnhofes. In der neuen Halle hätten noch viel mehr Fans ein über zweistündiges Konzert erleben können. Es war wieder toll und auch die gespielten Lieder vom neuen Albums "Octane" gefielen.
Nächstes RHCP Konzert dann auf der Loreley Celtic Night am 4.8.2017 mit Rapalje und Donnie Munro mit Band.

A band from Scotland whose name is taken from a band from the U.S. doing a partial cover of a song by a band from Australia, while performing in Germany.
And they're brilliant! Any chance you get, anywhere in the world, go and see them live for an unbelievable evening! Highly recommended.

Irish/Finnish man. These boys rock. I've seen massed pipes and drums in the Highlands. It will get the hairs on your arms in goosebumps. I'm not Scottish, but the swirl of the pipes does something primeval to me.

I’m American. When I was 8 years old, I heard Highland pipes for the first time, and it gave me goosebumps. I’ve loved them ever since! I figure I was Scottish in a past life.

Actually quite impressed! I couldnt figure out why RHCP was dressed like they were from Scotland (saw that they have an upcoming show around here...) I stared at the photo for a while and was thoroughly convinced they did not look like RHCP ...then I finally read their name right: 'RHChilli Pipers' 😂

Loved the RHC Pipers ever since I heard their We Will Rock You many years ago on a Jonathan Ross radio show. Just blew me away. My daughter emailed the show to ask who it was and Wossie sent us the CD ! Result 😁

before years the "Chillies" play in Mainz, germany coming a group of young people the stairs up to the location, wear "Red Hot Chilli Peppers" shirts and i must laugh. After enlightenment from me they stay and enjoy the show.

Anthony Kiedis is a kilt...lol... i would never had imagined that. Nor, would I ever think that the RHCP played the pipes. That is awesome. The bag pipes are actually an instrument that can be pplayed in old, Scottish war hyms. As well as modernl, rock music. They are an awesome instrument that I would love to learn how to play. But, I would first have to learn how to read music. Which at this poimt in my life, is unlikely to occur...
Hey, fellow bagpiper here. I play only by hearing, never learned how to read notes myself. So if you want, go try it, mate. It's never to late to learn new things ;o)
