You definitely need wheels on the bottom of the megacade cabinet! I’m going to do a smaller size arcade cabinet, not as big as the megacade. Probably a 32 inch screen will be my next project. Between working overtime and working on my machine, I exhausted 😴 but when there’s something you love ❤️ to do, you don’t care 🤷🏾♂️ how tired 😴 the job is, as long as you have fun in what interests you!
I'm glad these come with wheels. And yeah, when you're passionate about something, some times you'll sacrifice sleep. But as long as you're having fun doing what you love, nothing else compares.

I talked to the guy at extreme arcades and he said since my pedestal has a Jamma motherboard it would be easier for me to sell the pedestal than to try to add the stuff the extreme arcades have to get the 10k plus games :(. Damn wish I found this company before going with retro active arcade.
@@dthomasfromnc Yea the quality and games are great on retro, it's just you don't realize you miss those old console games till you see it on another machine lol. I just can't believe there isn't a way to some how update, upgrade, or change out that Jamma board without it being a headache.
Once question with the wheels on the bottom of the cab. Assuming they lock in place when you have it in your desired location in your house. Love the side art too man
There's a lock mechanism with rubber on the bottom that you can screw and lock the Megacade in place. Being that I'm on carpet, it doesn't really matter because it's not going to move anyway. Glad you're digging the side art.

And with the joystick panel removed, the cabinet must be so much more easier to move around ( I live in a second floor appartment) How much would you say the cabinet weight without the joystick panel ? Do you think that 2 people can safely move it ?
You're so welcome. It shouldn't be too difficult to move with two STRONG people. 😂 It took four of us to bring it up 15 stairs comfortably without the control panel.

Hey D, I love your videos. This is the channel i found when i was looking for home arcades. My question is do you know how wide the cab is when the cp is off? I have an older house. The doors in my home are a little smaller then normal. Thank you in advance

So after removing the control panel I should have plenty of clearance going thru my front door... Im scared though because I need to immediately turn to the left because of the staircase directly in front of the door. Are you able to angle the megacade thru doorways?

There has been a ton of new games added, but they are just dumped onto the main wheel and it looks like it is becoming very difficult to manage and maneuver the wheels. Thoughts?
You're welcome! Not sure how to totally clean up the hyperspin wheel. I'm sonuse to it now and kinda know where a lot of things are...it doesn't seem as messy to me as it is to others. That's just me though. To others could it be cleaned up better, absolutely. But that's something I currently do not know how to do.
Most of the games I've played thus far run smoothly. Only had issues with Ratchet and Clank (PS2). The world rendered a little slow. Other than, check the gameplays on my channel. Games run really smooth.
GDamn! After I took The last horizontal screw out, the entire panel came sliding off! Definitely not safe sitting there without a secure screw in. My guess is that the new cabinet design is slimmer….so it DOES NOT safely sit there after removing all screws. BEWARE FELLAS!!
@@dthomasfromnc Megacade is 300lbs before options. No way it'll make it down my stairs. Think I'm going with the 2 player stealth. That 4 player is sweet though. Thanks for the vids showing all it has to offer!

I just looked at Retro Actives website. They have some nice arcades. I like the build of extremehomearcades.com better though.

Thank you! The connection to the screen is connected via HDMI. So I don't think you'll have a problem streaming once you're set up.

Did you have something underneath after taking your screws out?
The problem wouldn't be getting it in the door, it would be getting it downstairs lol. May have to go with a pedestal or stealth model.
Possibly! But unless I move (which I'm not planning on doing ever) then the Megacade will stay upstairs in our gameroom until the end of time.🤣🤣🤣
