I was never really the biggest Edge fan(I preferred Christian) but at almost 50 with a bad neck…whats the real gain of this truly gonna be? Just like Sting,you’re paying this guy more than he commanded in his prime and not getting nearly the return on it.

Not really. It's kinda like how in sports they have post game press conferences and interviews.

Its great, this show is great, we're on a great run, best set of shows in history, we've never been better, etc. It is so sad, that Tony Khan has no idea about how much he is getting played by so much of his roster. He is setting these guys up for life after they retire. And at this point, I dont blame them, go get your money.
It’s weird such a fan can’t tell he’s being carnied by his entire locker room (more proof he’s just looking for friends, and will pay for it).
He’s the purest definition of a money mark, and they’ll milk him dry, and he’s happy to be milked because they call him “boss” while they do it.

I fast forwarded through mostly all of this except Jim & Brian’s responses. Watching HHH do these and how professional he is,its almost like he’s trying to come off as a Sports Promoter and not a fan.
Christian Cage is BY FAR the best heel in the business. I am seriously glad that some talents are keeping kayfabe.

AEW is nothing but a WWE nostalgia shop now. Tony is going to be surprised when more and more of his young talents leave the company.

I would say TNA 2.0 but TNA at one point was actually decent competition for WWE. AEW has never come close.

I feel what is happening in AEW is the same thing that has happened in TNA when it first started more so when it became popular amongst wrestling fans. how wrestlers from ROH and the indies were thrown aside for wrestlers who are some what past their prime and well known get treated better than those who are trying to make a name for themselves.
I think it's a little worse. Those guys that were a little past their prime in 2008 are now in AEW.
AEW wishes it was as good as prime TNA.
I hope Jim sees Jey Uso and Cody's press conference after Fastlane. They were both drunk, funny as shit. Cody is asked by a reporter how he's doing and did Brody King's bark at the reporter 😂
Jey asks a reporter like 3 times "you feel me?" Then Cody jumps in "do you feel him, sir?" Fuckin hilarious
Watching that was the first time I realized how close some of these guys probably are backstage. I got the genuine feeling that Cody and the Usos and likely Reigns are all on friendly terms. They definitely seemed like legit work friends who respect each other. I laughed so hard at so much of that.

WWE press conferences are always short and sweet. Triple H is the one who talks the longest and that's usually about 20 minutes. Tony goes on for HOURS. 😂 He really loves the attention.
Cut Hunter some slack. Years of cutting 20-minute promos in the ring on Raw is a hard habit to break.
Gotta say I don't get Mr Copeland's choice. I know he got cleared for WWE, but it didn't ever sound like his neck was in the condition where a lot of bumps would be wise or advised. Seemed like that was part of the reasoning behind his limited schedule.
I mean let's be real, AEW forced the adults out and it's kids and walking midlife crisis guys and not much else. Kind of what it was at its outset to be honest which is basically the "days without injuries 0" meme but as a promotion. I don't know if anyone's averaged it out, but it's gotta be one a show or more, my guess is around three.
Alvarez now praises the very things he used to throw tantrums about.
According to recent ticket sales, Edge is a no-draw lol but Edge is milking Tony for that money 😂

The tuesday night is going to be interesting. Cena, Cody, Heyman, and possibly the undertaker on the same show! The only way aew beat nxt at this moment, is have Toni Storm do a uncensored strip show. Adam Copeland sure not going move the needle.

Edge came back to a half empty arena on Dynamite and Rampidge and lost thousands of viewers. Even Uncle Dave thinks they're ice cold. Hopefully Shad pulls the life support soon

Christian did a great job if that's the only time you've ever heard Christian talk.
But Brian does have a point that his 'I don't want to be here' dickish attitude feels a bit off from someone who's known to be a flamboyant, smiley goof of a heel. It makes it feel like acting even if it's less acting than what he used to do because it feels like a different person talking.
Edge went from doing story telling wrestling matches to having to do matches similar to his wrestle mania match against foley ever night and yup didn't last too long

Christian's right about the champion not targeting people. Not until all the credible challengers are beaten anyway. For an irritating heel, that wasn't a bad way of putting the roster over.
It bears repeating that Tony Khan should NOT be handling talent relations. Keep in mind that he's probably lying to make himself sound better, like he lied about Dynamite's presentation, about the Wembley Stadium numbers, and that he probably bungled his negotiations with Cargill far worse than he admitted to! I wonder if she signed a non disclosure agreement.

MJF and Cole did have some appeal to me. I wasn't real jazzed about it, but it was popular apparently. Now unfortunately Cole is hurt. Puleeeze let your champ be the champ 🤞
I'll be honest right now and say I've never been that much of an Edge fan, but I wasn't all that much of a CM Punk fan either and he pleasantly surprised me with his AEW work, for the most part. I imagine Edge can do well too. I was a pretty big Chris Jericho fan though and that's been mostly disappointment, so I'm not getting too hopeful.
The post event scrums became big with UFC. These wrestling scrums are basically rip offs of those. Don't know who ripped off UFC first, WWE or AEW.
You don't have to go back thirty years to hear someone who wasn't the world champion talk like their belt was the big belt. Jay Lethal as television champion, the only champion that matters, that was less than ten years ago, hell, you don't even have to go back a full year to hear Samoa Joe proclaiming himself "king of television". Matter of fact, Joe still is, it just rings hollow now because the booking undercut him.
MJF is a Superstar! Remember when he was 2nd fiddle to Cody as Cody's best friend. Now he outshines Cody at every step. Adam Cole is also great, but he is everyone's Grandpa who falls & constantly breaks his hip & has to recover just enough to fall again.
