Very good review from Jim and Brian. I was at WrestleDream. It was amazing, but it was indeed too long. I wouldn't have minded 1-2 less matches. The Christian/Darby stair spots was weird. Jim's explanation makes sense. The last one did look so nasty. The crowd was so hot for Swerve and others. It was great seeing Barnett and Claudio chain wrestling. I was certain that Edge would not go to AEW, and I was blown away when he came out. Overall, I really enjoyed the PPV, more than anything WWE related I've gone to, but AEW does prove that you can have too much of a good thing. I felt similar when watching a PPV on TV, after a while, I had my fill of over the top matches. Very valid points from both. The red spots on Ospreay was weird looking and I had no idea what it was. There is so much more I could go over, but in the end, I loved WrestleDream.

Of all the tag teams to pull out a "super-variation" of the Shatter Machine against, because the regular Shatter Machine just isn't sufficient, Aussie Open? Didn't they lose to a double clothesline? What even IS psychology?
They do shit like that all the time, didn't Kenny Omega do two One Winged Angels to beat some Dark Order dork? They (AEW and Tony Khan) think of cool spots sometimes; Moxley's bloodied midcarder opponent refusing to give up or Aleister Black's kick being blocked for the first time and then blow them on the wrong people. @@TheJollyMisanthrope ha ha good one
I wonder what Jim's blood pressure reading is during these reviews? 😂
Actually I detected undertones of glee in his voice at certain times. Definitely some matches got his blood boiling, but there was a certain gleam that I hadn’t heard in a while
“TakeAShit just looks like a STAR!” 😂🤣😂 Complimenting a guy by using the name you insult him with tickles me
(42:22)
... Or Ginger or Scary or Baby or Sporty either.
I like Zack Sabre Jr. But, he is missing a few pieces to be a real believable top guy. He still has a lot of bad Indy habits.
For how much Jim seems to like Takeshita, I wish he'd use his actual name.
no you don't, take is a great nickname, he's been dropping the "shita" part
14 match’s 5hrs holy shit!! That’s to damn long of a ppv to watch.
HEY, as a TRUE depressed alcoholic i would pummell HANGDICKS head until it looked like ground beef coming out a deflated basketball.
Not true Tony made MJF stick around for dumb ass media scrum . But I get your point and I’m big fan of MJF and Corny too. 9:26
Need to push the hell outta Swerve. I think he could beat MJF. I prefer ZSJ and Osprey now that they have put on size. I think the Bryan ZSJ match was good.
OMG that image........LMFAO
Hahah🤣 this review was GOOD , finally Brian is having a mind of his OWN! Good job on this one!
You know what would be really cool if they put all the big-time contract names stipulations if company goes out of business they could go and get paid to wrestle any promotions under that guaranteed money just to help boost independent promotion
Jim, I usually agree with you 110% of the time, but Danielson vs Sabre Jr was a fantastic match. Yes there was no story, and that’s terrible booking, but it was a fantastic technical match.
Julia Hart vs Statlander was actually the only reason I wanted to watch the ppv. I see Jim wasn't a fan but I loved the match was coming out of my seat by the end of it. I know Julia is getting married and taking time off but I hope she's back sooner rather than later.
Getting married? She's like 16..
40:49 but is his Moop Face like Hager's Moop Face?
for the record, it was a crown headband, not a belt that hit Hangman Page
There was a really good 3 hour ppv Hiden in the show
LMAO that picture of tony
The thought of Edge and Christian vs FTR is very interesting,
I did several rewinds on the stairs too.
Moxley is also known in the mma world as the Bible of Martial Arts.😂😂😂😂😂
The master of "Death Jitsu".. lmfao 😂
Never liked him, terrible, his silly facials are the worst convincing
Even worse than Beckys
, 😂😂,
there is no reason for jim to be more entertaining just reading his notes, than the actual ppv....... please tony make us care about any of it, i don't care about the friendship storylines
Love your back in wrestling. Had to check out MLW
Why are wrestling ppv's longer than full length feature films.
The next match was Jericho, Kenny Omega and his 'Life Partner' Kota Idushi😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What is khan doing under the sheets wacking the struddle 😂😂😂😂
The thumbnail 😂😂😂
This thumbnail still slays me.
A Rocky Horror Picture Show sighting!! 🥰
Wheeler looks like a recently released political prisoner , somebody's been mistreating him in some fashion, he escaped somehow , across the border
OMG Cornette is so good with his quips - He would be fantastic on an updated MST3K Revival 🤣🤣
I doubt inoki had a dream of having the plummer on commentary
I suspect they use everything the week they've thought of it because of the ADHD booking, they can't build to anything.
Have Swerve and Keith Lee had a match yet?
Cornette = G.O.A.T.
racist cornette lol
Cornette and his folks = hateful virgins lmao
18:27 ohh Brian , KONAN😂
Cornette actually showed his hand here. No one who actually watched the Statlander/Hart match wpuld have complained about them going "too fast."
I thought the girls did great
@@sy-ky_buddy4603 they tried... but they certainly didn't rush or move too fast. 😆
Yeah I felt like a lot of people are not on Jim side on this tell Brian got real quiet
@@paulcarpenter7844 i didn't particularly like the match, but not for lack of effort. Statlander and Hart just aren't particulalry skilled yet. The match was very "indy." In any case, whether you liked ot disliked the match, they weren't moving too fast. Julia and Kris very clearly got lost on at least 3 occasions and started sheepishly walking through their spots unsure what the other person was about to do. 🤷♂️
Not everyone is seeing things with your eyes.
We need a Cornette "Help Me Brian" shirt..
