Feeling a little dumb having sold my Rhino slider and picked up an Edlekrone and RS2... Would have loved to use the RS2 with the Rhino! Thanks for a super informative video!
Great video! Been eyeing one of these for a while! Had NO CLUE it integrated with the Rhino Slider!! Is that attachment something that would come with the basic kit (without dana dolly integration) or do you have to buy that adapter separately? Thanks again for the amazing content!
It actually uses the original rhino slider motor and cable. All you need is this adapter cable. It's currently showing sold out but maybe there is still some available somewhere else. emotimo.com/products/spectrum-st4-rhino-evo-adapter?srsltid=AfmBOop2NZ5gev5WEFfGTGpq9oneVMYjYlnXumvf-Nt05dfjCz-5RnOR
That's UNREAL. Would you consider doing a video as informative about your process in handling director-client negotiations, as in, when it comes to creating, adjusting, and delivering a product/assets?
Thanks for this review! A few questions here: - what's the maximum speed of the system? - can it be controlled from the distance of 100m for example from the control room far away from the setup?
I will jump in with some context - Brian from eMotimo here. The wireless controller works 30-50 feet from the controller and is good for quick run and gun shots or if you are within that range. For longer range applications, the Network Port enables you to plug into your regular network and get and IP address. From there, you can control it via Bitfocus Companion / with streamdecks, or Skaarhoj BluePill PTZ controllers, Dragonframe, or even our OpenAPI that enables other applications and software to control the system. Everything the SA2.6 can control - all 8 Axis - can be commanded and queried remotely. Great for Live Events and houses of worship.
It's funny in that when DJI opened up their API, they used SpeedRail sliders as an example of what what could be used with the system. We are happy to step in and combine solutions to enable users to combine gear they already own to push new possibilities.
Hey - eMotimo here - Brian, specifically. Yes, the eMotimo Conductor SA2.6 supports the DJI RS4 officially! It will drive a SINGLE DJI focus motor just like the RS2 and RS3. If DJI opens up their API to enable us to control the second motor, we will add that in future. We have been using it with our RS4 for several months and find it to be as solid and reliable as the other versions.
Can you use the Dana dolly function without dji rs2/rs3. Say if I have the ronin 4d and I just want to use the slider for Dana dolly and control 4d separately?
Yep! The brain of the system is the SA2.6 so even if the RS3 is disconnected you can still program the Dana dolly motor and Tilta Nucleus M focus motors.
@@Filmgoblin Yes, the Conductor is highly configurable. One of the cooler application for this is a huge push with no/pan tilt with a heavy camera with Focus/Zoom control coordinated. This could support a full kitted out Amira with a cinema zoom controlled by Tilta Nucleus Motors. In short its a 3 axis shot with Pan/Tilt locked off, with Slide/Focus/Zoom.
I missed a pretty important note on talking about the network port, which is how this system can tie into Unreal Engine!
V cool. Many questions..need to watch it all again first.
We'll be here when you get back ☺️
Not really the thing for me, but I do appreciate the results you guys achieve with this type of gear. That ice cream commercial looked yum!
Not for him but he still leaves a comment ❤️
Solid!!!!!
What is that small rig mount/connection you use to connect the rhino slider on the rs3? Great video and keep up the great work.
This guy right here. amzn.to/3AMOe7d
Really like it since it has two lemos so you have an extra for pass through power.

2 axis of jib add-on would be amazing.

Crazy that DJI haven’t done this themselves.

Can I make the Ronin pan ultra fast? I need it for a shot
Hmm no rs4?
Nvm

Bought in, but I heard that too 😀
