I would find that a faff having to actually go to boost items, Im now glad Tesco just apply all the clubcard points with zero effort! I always save my Tesco Clubcard points to pay for annual RAC breakdown for whole family and then usually have enough left over for a family day out for free somewhere like a Stately Home or Stonehenge or something! Do the points you collect there also apply to other things like that too?
I do hate this part... would be good if they were all just 'boosted' for you. I guess it's so they can save some money on those that forget to boost... like I did for the first 3 months 😅😅
You are far more organised than we are we also shop at Woolies, Coles and Aldi and are spending more than that with just the 2 of us. I reckon in the last 12 months we are probably spending 30% a week more than we used to.
I wish I could do a weekly shop at Aldi as I do think it would be cheaper, however I just like the convenience of doing it online! It's definitely getting more expensive isn't it 😢
@@kimberleylucastip; IKEA carries a wooden lazy susan (without upturned edges though). I am today years old and realizing I cóuld use it in a cupboard 😂😅 a lot of value in these vids eh? 😂
Hey Kim! We love Woolies. We are also a family of 4 (4 yr old and 5 month old kids). My husband and I have a reward card each. We shop every week but do 1 big food shopping every other week and take advantage of the half price offers and the one 10% off discount per month for each of us (same applies to big W) . So I sort of plan our meals based on what's on offer. We either do direct to boot or in-store shopping depending on what's on half price offer as some offers can only be availed online. One big shop can be more on meats and we tend to freeze some of them. Then another big shop is usually for non-perishables like toilet paper, nappies (we buy at least 3 packs when they're on half price), cleaning materials, etc.. our big shopping is usually in the $180-$220 range and the alternate weeks can be at $150. I shop in store when I can and take advantagee of the quick sale stuff especially the ones that can be frozen for the coming week or so. Last yr we were able to ger about $300 for our Christmas shopping from the rewards program. :) Thanks for sharing the tip on boosting the points. Will try to do that too! :)
@@kimberleylucas we’re loving it! I’ve made some posts on some “poms in Perth” pages and made some really lovely friendships, might be worth a shot doing something similar? I was so nervous to do it, I literally did a little “friend application” saying a bit about me and things I like etc x
You should shop at Aldi more and your local IGA they haven’t made huge profits like Coles and Woolworths have with everyday Aussies doing it tough!! Telling everyone they’re keeping prices down when they are actually not and when they have specials if you look under the special tag you’ll probably find it’s dearer than the normal price! Take a stand and hold these two to account!! They need stopping!!
I love the woolies points. I check my emails daily for all the extra random points. I got about $90 worth of money off in the lead up to xmas last year by taking advantage 🎉
Why don’t you shop at Aldi? They’ve done comparisons and Aldi is 25% cheaper than both of those. Plus, why would you give your money to those two companies when they’ve made such huge profits off the backs of Australians doing it tough! Their specials aren’t specials at all. Do your research. Shop at IGA as well. They’re locally owned and use local products whereas Woolworths and Coles are ripping off the producers of all the foods. They pay a pittance and yet charge like a wounded bull!! So do yourself a favour and change. The only way we’re going to get Woolworths and Coles to change is to stop shopping there. Take a stand!!
Love watching your uploads! Really helping me understand costs plus emotional highs and lows of moving from UK to Aus
Thank you for this. Let me know if there's anything particular you would like me to cover off ❤
Sooooooo organised Kimberley! You put me to shame lol!!!!! Love to you all, 😂❤x

I wish my fridge and pantry was so neat and tidy like yours 😀 i just put everything in any gap i cab find lol 😀
Haha I wish the rest of my house was this organised 😅😅

I love this saying 😅 it's so true!!!
Did you buy that rotating thing in your cupboard or is it just an amazingly useful cupboard?? 😍🤣
It's just an AMAZINGLY useful cupboard! BUT I've seen a very good 'Lazy Susan' in Kmart and it was well priced! 😊

Your starting become an Aussie and calling Woolworths "Woolies" 😏
I'm learning 😅 we used to have a woolworths in the UK, not groceries however we also shortened it to woolies so I'm used to calling it that 😅
Ooh can’t wait to watch this! I spend so much at Coles or Woolies but very little when I go to Aldi x
Thank you, I was thinking of you last week! Hope you are settling in well 😊❤

Aldi is best value for money -except for the occasional real special at the big two
I do love Aldi, just wish they offered click and collect!
Even when the two duopoly have specials they’re still not cheaper than Aldi. Plus, people should support their locally owned IGA stores too.
