- Oktavia's barrier suddenly disappears, because she has been killed by Homura. Kyoko furious at her for destroying her last bit of hope at saving. Homura says that there was no hope of saving her all along. Kyoko begins to laugh and say that she was so stupid to think that there would be any chance at saving her. She says that there is nothing left for her but to fall, and turns into the witch Ophelia.
After she is defeated, Madoka becomes depressed, and Homura says that this is the harsh reality of the world of Magical Girls that she so admired.
When Walpurgis comes, Homura has trouble beating it, when Madoka suddenly appears. Homura says she has to go back, and then gets hit by one of Walpurgis' attacks. Madoka decides to make a contract to save Homura. She destroys Walpurgis, but Kyubey explains that because she used so much magic, her Soul Gem is at its limit and she turns into a witch. She will destroy the world in 10 days. Homura resets the timeline, saying she will not let this happen next time. - เกม

Kyoko's witch form like Mami's witch form is a rare sight even to Homura. Its not like you see them turn into a witch in every timeline.
They're both fairly rare occasions. Mami has to be so envious of Homura and Madoka's friendship that her loneliness chokes her and Kyoko both has to know that Oktavia is Sayaka and be denied the chance to face her, due to Homura destroying her on her own.

Not exactly. There's no confirmation of Mami and Kyoko transforming into Witches. When Gen Urobuchi was asked about that, he only said "probably".
Portable's timelines are really different from those shown in the game (especially timeline 1, which is the beginning for the story, essentially meaning that Portable's stuff should be identified with the original anime or manga)

Honestly, if these are supposed to be some of the timelines that weren't shown in the anime, then just the very existence of this game is despair-inducing. With Homura's final rewind tally being around 100 and each attempt lasting a whole month, she's basically experienced varying forms of ungodly despair for more than ***8 years***. Non-stop. The violent and repeated breaking of Moemura in the early timelines and the "you thought you've seen everything? how about this then?" breaking of Homura in the later timelines are equally soul-destroying, and yet she always has no choice but to try again.
It even makes the existence of the third movie a hell of a lot easier to understand.
Urobuchi wrote the scenarios for this game and said the only one that doesn't fit within the anime's continuity is the Extra route.
So yeah, you can say all the other routes from this game are canon timelines (including the "best one" where all girls accept the truth, stick together, survive Walpurgisnacht and Madoka never makes a contract, but they're still stuck with the bitter reality that one day they'll become Witches).

I like how Madoka's scream goes from normal high to low at the end. (most likely to the voice actor's normal voice)
A candle mounted on a horse... Kyoko did say she used to love those stories about white knights. But that was back when she had faith. Oh little candle...If you rely on knights, you prove yourself meanigless.
Maybe Sayaka with a cape and sword really did something for her, in addition to the rest.
They should make a fourth movie and put this in it after the battle with Oktavia without Kyoko dead after the battle then become a witch.

Actually, homura and madoka were bffs, after madoka becomes a witch, homura gets depressed and becomes a magical girl to save her and battle walpurgis nacht by herself so she can live
4 years late but OP is completely right. At around 21 minutes in, Madoka asks Homura if she needs help to defeat Walpurgis and is willing to become a magical girl to. Homura "admits" (lies) that she intentionally set Sayaka and Kyoko up to die since they were in her way to get Walpurgis' grief seed all for herself. Homura then says that if Madoka signs a contract, she will have no choice but to kill Madoka since there will be more than one magical girl and they can't share the grief seed to try to scare Madoka into going back home. After Madoka runs away, Homura starts crying over how guilty she is for the cruelty of these lies.
Maybe the people insulting OP should actually learn a new language instead of being crayon-eaters who go "hurhghn no subs can't understand" :)

I don't have the game yet or know anything about the game controls but when he uses Homura why does he walk around so muck instead of just going to the door?
He probably just wants to check everywhere in case he misses anything. People do this in almost every game.

@MahouShoujo Maisoon When it comes to physical strength and agility, Mami is the 1st and Kyouko is 2nd. When it comes to magical potential, however, Madoka is 1st.
@MahouShoujo Maisoon Actually, that's a good question. Homura doesn't count cuz time travel. Mami isn't particularly speedy but she's not slow. Kyouko's more agile then fast. We've seen madoka run and she's pretty slow. We haven't seen enough of Nagisa. I think Sayaka's the fastest. When she was fighting, what was it, Elsa Maria(?), She went pretty fast. There were 2 times she was on the ground and zoomed towards the witch. And she even got into the air and was able to accelerate her speed towards the witch. Yeah, I think all evidence points towards her being the fastest.
