Stadium Arcadium is such an underapreciated album. I mean, sure, the whole thing's really like 3 albums and is an undying testament to John's will to test out every effect for the guitar ever created, but the material is consistently amazing even though it's different from their previous stuff. John isn't as interacting with the public as Anthony ;p And during How deep is your love I don't think Anthony interrupted him, John made a mistake in his chord progression (the only mistake he ever made? haha)
He didn’t make a mistake, he stopped when AK sang backing vocals and he didn’t welcome it that’s why he said fuck. In one video I saw, AK looked apologetic and stopped singing backup to JF.
I guess it's really hard for the bass to stand out, let alone on a live performance such as this. I'm pretty sure they did a soundcheck but due to the bass' low tone nature, it would really be hard for it to stand out especially vs a higher toned electric guitar.
