Just came across your videos yesterday. I retired 5 years early Nov. 1st, 2020 when Covid started after having flown for UAL for 34 years. I flew 5 years international on the 777 and loved it. But I feel your pain with the fatigue feeling, I remember it well. We always said stay away from power tools for 48 hours after an international trip. I did a 11 day ORD NRT SIN NRT ICN NRT ORD one time and was a zombie for 2-3 days when I got home. Kudos to you for doing 15 days. I’m reliving all the great times thru your videos. Enjoy your career, it’s the best job ever.

OMG seeing the simulator was so awesome! BTW, copied the airports down with flight number so I can go fly it in MSFS 2024. I wanted to be a pilot so bad in my twenties but could not work and go to flight school back then. All the loans would not defer until after the school so I am living my alternate life through your channel. Hope to see more pilot related things on your channel. From your routine before and after flights to the actual flight. I love seeing this stuff! Keep up the great work.

Hi Esther. So I’m assuming you fly both the 747-400 and the 747-8. IDK if this is a top secret question but in your experience do you noticed any differences in the performance, handling of each variants? I’m assuming the -8 is more efficient but would be nice to hear from someone who is actually being in the flight decks.
They all fly the same. The Dash 8 is about 100k heavier at max takeoff, but it doesn't feel any different than the 400. Landings you had to keep the power in longer on the dash 8 otherwise it will come crashing down faster.
How many hard landings have you done so far? Have you flown into JFK yet?

U r lucky u are pilot in usa for foreigner it's almost impossible because we don't have the visa permission to become a pilot in usa and airline don't sponsor foreign student pilot for job while visa office wants a sponsor company ... But still 🎉 congratulations and best of luck for your future 😊
Yeah nationality is 95% of what determines pilots career. Any 20years captain outside the USA won't get a pay as close to 2nd year US FOs

Which of you will make it to FL450 first?
Ive made it to 430 before!
@@estherinclouds Yay! But only the 744s can go to FL450, the dash-8s can't, right?. I think N429MC was up at FL450 between Japan and South Korea, but I get the feeling it's a rare event. Are there big differences between FL400 and FL430? Did you have to wear your O2 mask? Was it fun, or just routine?
@SeanAwning-er4ww the 400's can do FL451. I've done it flying through China. I've done FL 431 on the Dash 8 as well.
Do you have to wear your uniform in the sim?
