How lovely to see Honolulu again. We first went as an Australian Military family on break from a really, really tough posting. I was beyond shocked at the respect shown to my husband everywhere we went. I couldn’t work out why until I actually asked a person at a ticket booth. He said ma’am we respect our Military Allies and Aussies are always so damn happy and friendly! My love for the USA started with that very first trip. I have been back to the US many times for work and so enjoy being there and the absolute courtesy of my US colleagues. As a couple we have been back many times, picked up an RV and just pointed lets go that way. We were in Maine and I had a slight accident at the RV park. I swear that I have never seen so many people rush to my aid. I did need further help, and the gorgeous couple parked next to us, just called around everywhere until they found what I needed, and then drove me there, waited patiently, and drove us back. Wowza. You meet the nicest citizens in an RV Park I tell you. We are still friends to this day, but they won’t come to Australia because of the Drop Bears and all the other nasty critters here 😂

The insight into a pilots real life really shines through in your vids Kelsey, an obvious observation but who else out there apart from you does this kind of thing, and so well, brilliant through it’s simplicity. Unmissable. Big Thanks.

My goodness these vlogs are quality. Really very good stuff indeed.
Also I love (I assume) your editor both for their edits but also their choice of music. It's never that stupid electronic repetitive stuff, but actually something that adds to the imagery and is fun to listen to for the couple of seconds it's there. Awesome stuff! Still baffled by how ridiculously good these vlogs are for an 'unexperienced' vlogger.

I remember flying on Air Mobility Command flights in the mid 2000's (05 and 06, primarily). Y'all used to make jokes about all of the guns on the plane (because, of course, we were rotating in or out of combat). Flying home with AMC was one of the greatest joys I've ever felt. Strange as it is to say it, home came and picked us up.

Hafa Adai, Spent 3 years stationed in a squadon on Naval Air Station Agana (Now closed) in the 70s. Hotel row had 3 hotels then.
Got bumped from a MAC flight out of Travis when I first went there, and flew a new 747-100 on PanAm. My love for the 747 began.

I spent two years on Guam. No complaints. People are genuine. Afternoon rains always suck and the humidity is brutal, but that's what to expect on near-equatorial islands.

Thanks for the video memories. I was a Flight Engineer for Atlas and had many days where I had to do the same thing. Short notice, long commercial deadhead, rest, then operate a flight. I once went New York to Hong Kong on United. When I got hired Atlas had 6 -200's and all we did was cargo. It was the start of the internet and we were always fully loaded with computer components. I miss the people most of all. Of course I wasn't a pilot so when the -200's went away so did I. So look down when you are flying over Alabama I'll wave.
