En estos días le dio un fallo al motor. En relanti subía y bajaba de revoluciones inclusive manejándolo. Lleve el auto a escaner y no daba la falla. No había forma de escanear el problema. Mi buen mecánico desmantelo el trotter. Lo limpio bien, y resuelto el problema 😃

A guy at work coming in for the night shift had the roof down and hit a speed bump too hard. The head rests fired up as part of the roll over protection and he was stuck in the car park with the roof refusing to close. Cost him a lot of hassle getting his partner to swap the car over and a trip to the dealers. If only we had this video at the time…no we would not have helped him but would have shown him the next day as part of our “ speed bumps are not speed jumps” education programme😂
on my 2006 CLK350 there is a button on the dash to lower the rear headrests. Passengers can raise them manually for comfort, or they can deploy over a severe bump.
are thy power headrests that stuck up or triggered by airbag system. why were they up. left with more questions than answers. just hope some clown lifted them manually onto the catch and not naffed up the roll over protection thanks for vid luis
Had one of these when they first came out and it was forever at the dealers with faults of the hood mechanism and seatbelt extenders. The resetting procedure for the rear headrests was actually in the manual, had to do it myself once when I went over a bump while driving quickly and they shot up with a bang as they thought I might roll over. It had a party trick of failing with the roof halfway, leaving it undriveable until I figured how to do it manually.
I found that the 6mm allen wrench works great to push those headrests down. Mine shows OPERATED. But they are down already. I used a metal rod before. I kept it in the trunk, bunt don't need it now. LOL Mu Autel machine doesn't have the yes ir no. It just says OPERATED. Well, I jist found if I pull them up, it says NOT OPERATED. So they are fine. The headrests pop up if you hit a bump too hard. I found out about that. Had to figure out how to put them down to het the top to work. Right now, I have a few B codes. B1928, B1953, B1933, B1926, B1930.
Thanks for the interesting video and I have a question? With my CLK W209 I can't remove the roof, just lower the windows and unlock the locks above the windshield. This happens every time after the winter. Nevite goes could be a problem?He constantly writes errors P 1928 and P1923. Thanks Tom
Look at the live data on the roof control module... It could be a microswitch, or sensor not feedback to the module... P codes on the roof module? Are you sure?

No... The remote will not work... Why do you want to replace all of that? Why don't you replace just part you know is faulty? That if you know what is faulty... Is that the ecu? 👍👍👍

Hi You can do it without the camera, it will just be a bit more tricky... The wire, was just a normal metal wire, use anything that you can use to push that tab... I can't remember where I got the wire from, but something like B&Q will have it... 👍👍👍

Help me please. My 2001 mercedes clk 200 kompressor top roof doesn't open all the way down. It just stop when the rear window is going down. What should be the problem?

Difficult to say... You can inspect the mechanism and see if there is anything out of the ordinary... Otherwise, and best is to scan the car... that should point you in the right direction... 👍👍👍
My fluid is under the low level my top is moving slow I believe it just needs fluid or could it be the pump it makes the noise like it works it just goes really slow
I don't get why those convertible cars with no rear leg/head room have rear seats just takes up space for front or overall legroom and makes the car more complicated
Makes more sense... they are both for limit switches... as I suspected... One for the catch, the other one not sure without looking... Check visually the switches you can see, and measure them making sure they are working... 👍👍👍

It went over a bump too fast
Hitting a hard bump or pothole with too much speed can cause them to pop up.
Nice quick fix as others have said lot of questions about car has it been in a bump mmmm!!! Great singing at start too

Not on this... this is a different system...
They pop up in case of a roll over, as being a cabrio... to protect the rear passengers...

Look for a virginized one, or one that comes with the pin number...
That way you can do virginize it yourself...
