PLEASE file a patent in China, USA and AU. I know that sounds a bit extreme but you could get these manufactured in Amish Country here in the US and those communities would love it!
What type of wood are they made out of? They look great, always wanted to have one. Unfortunately, 50AU$ for a nut cracker is currently not in the budget. 😭 Better times will come. 🎉
@@elizabethscott7660 Nice try and yes, I know what you mean. But it's me than just 5 or 10 bucks a month. I have to justify 50 bucks for an item which I would hardly use. On the other hand, there are so many daily needed and used things Ican spend that money for. E.g. oil prices gone up like crazy in the last ~6 months, so heating and driving alone accounts for 10 bucks per month increase, also food prices go up, and so much more. Bottom line, even if I could save up 10 bucks a month, I can't justify a purchase like this right now. No matter how much I want it.
Holly crap Rob,that's bad a$$! I wonder how long it would take to get to me in the current shipping situation? Also do ya think it would work for black walnut, they're much harder than those. Have a great day!
Hey MK. I just watched this vid th-cam.com/video/w5wjt10Rmvw/w-d-xo.html & they look to be about the same as a macadamia nut in shell hardness. 👍 Normally you need to give a macca a good wallop with a hammer to get them to crack.
Very soon the US folks will be paying tax on imports as well from what I've been told. The EU already stick the customer with import duties at their end.
GST isn't charged to overseas folks. Some do have to pay a similar tax once it lands in their country though, just like we have to if customs feel like being pains in the arse.

Squirrel away $5 or $10 when you get paid and you'll soon be cracking those nuts.
These are made from merbau BW. 👍 Nigel is looking at making some from reclaimed timber soon but they will be finished differently & I think.
@@RobsAquaponics thanks Rob. 👍🏿

Hey folks. I deleted & blocked a troll as I have no patients for stupidity.
I'm all for DIY but no need to be a dick about it.😉
Okay I’ll have to get sum nut trees first ;) but this looks brilliant

Missouri USA here, my first thought was black walnut bt we have pecans too. I might just have to get one and test American nuts.

Genius! Would it work on hickory nuts?
I would think they would as macca's are said to be one of the toughest nuts out there. 👍
Thank you sir.
Thanks for the locals discount 😂 looks good though 👍

I've mailed a number to ZA with no issues Warren. Postage just costs an arm & a leg.
Dont need a cracker, just a carton of beer and a few bets/dares.
It is a good cracker! i have one
Best we've ever used. 👍

Why do Aussies pay more?
