Where’s the music from? And where can I get it?
It is from a musical, called “The Count of Monte Cristo Musical”. The music is available on iTunes.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that the end credit music is a part from "The Prologue", which is also from The Count of Monte Cristo Musical. (about 50 secs into the song, to be exact). Fun fact: I used the beginning of "The Prologue" for the end credit music in our "A STORY TOLD" animatic :)
Where can I watch this?
You can’t, unless you live nearby where it is being performed on stage, as there are no recordings of it.

Everything was drawn in Photoshop Elements 7, and edited in After Effects CS6.
When will you finish the animation?
Never. This is the finished product. It takes a while to fully animate stuff and we don’t have the patience for it. This way we can get our videos our sooner so we can move onto the next one.

I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT INSEST IN THIS STORY
While Mercedes and Mondego are cousins, in those days that wasn't considered incest. If you want proof just look at the aristocratic family trees during the 18th and 19th century.
I love how the animator included a shoutout to the order Dantes (Rainbow Dash) punishes his enemies in the musical. First is Danglars (Applejack), who commits suicide after being left destitute, and in the animation, Danglars is left hanging from a rope. Next is De Villefort (Rarity), who is arrested for his crimes, reflected by Dantes clapping chains around De Villefort and dragging him into a crack in the ground. Finally, Mondego (Twilight Sparkle) realizes Dantes' true identity and confront him personally, with Dantes killing him by his own hand in a swordfight, with Mondego being crushed between the hooves of Dantes in the animation.
The opening of Danglar's portion might also be a reference, this time to the original novel (though I'm not sure about this) - Dantes' fire destroys everyone but Danglars, who is ultimately spared by Dantes after tormenting him by having him kidnapped by Dantes' bandits and being forced to pay exhorbitent prices just to have food and water - as in, _thousands of francs_ exhorbitent.
Oh, I didn't know that, in the book it was completely different.
I think first was Mondego, who killed himself. Then Villefort, who went insane. And then Danglars who lost his riches, but was overall spared

Well he gets screwed over by his "friends" framed for something he didn't do. And was locked up for life. This is actually all happening in his head while he rots away in his prison cell.

One day, Thomas Borchert and The Count of Monte Cristo musical were godsend in the music for me. I bought all of him albums and him voice became the voice of 2014 year for me. And then, I was not dreaming to see he in concert..
Well, things can change.. And 29 december 2016 Thomas and Mark Seibert attended Saint Petersburg with first time concert in Russia. I crossed 1.500 km from my city to see it. People had came from different cities and met first time in life. And concert was great.. beautiful voices and beautiful music. In concert performed different songs of musicals and my favorite "I will be there" with duet of beautiful girl (I'm very picky about such things but she was very very well) and "Hell to your doorstep"... My dreams fulfilled that evening.. I still don't believe that's true. And until that moment I didn't see such applause.
Thank You so much again Ink Potts! :D Thanks to You, that musical became extremely popular in brony fandom. And that opened new part of my life! :)

P. S. I heard the album "The Best of Goodbyes" of Thomas Borchert only in november 2016 because I didn't know about it and it became the theme of winter 2016-2017 :D I love that album and I think it's the best solo album of Thomas. My favorite song is "The best of Goodbyes" (I think it's the best song that he written). This is album of 1999 and not many people remember about it. And on concert when Thomas he began to speak "The best of..." I thought about that song but.. "that song is too old! that's impossible!". But yes, he played it on piano. Buuut he said it's new song for new album and this is a lie.. Ok))
P. P. S. In this year in Saint-Petersburg will be premiere of this musical of Frank Wildhorn with Russian actors. If I'll attend I'll write my impressions :D

I love how in the book The Count is seen by some of the other characters as having otherworldly powers. Like being able to bring the dead back to life, or changing fate itself. Its just goes to show what a man is capable of when he has wealth and patience

in the book, she and her son are spared though leave Mondego. Unfortunately, by the end of the book, she is alone with her fate uncertain because Albert goes out to war and she stays in an apartment
in the movie and musical (with slight alterations to each other), she reunities with Edmond and remarries him by the end of the story.

Since the series end I can officially say *"Hell to your door steep"* is my #1 favourite from 6. While *"I know those eyes/this man is dead"* come really close. I would even say artistically and detail wise it's the best, but "Hell to your doorstep" feels more energetic and speaks closer to me.
Song about revenge that is relatable when you got hurt by not very good people and left you miserable or got betrayed by people you thought were your friends. The cry for justice in these moments overwhelms your mind

Ink Potts already said that they're working on them and by continuosly asking the same annoying question over and over again you're not making these animatics come out any faster.
On the contrary, this constant bugging is the reason why a creator starts loosing the joy of working on new content.
So please be patient and just give them the time they need to finish their animatics.
And since when you are personal lawyer of them? But you are correct anyway, all those comments must be annoying, but they shows how many people love and waiting for inkpotts artworks, it not only annoying but also motivating.

22neptun Steir12 MirageMia The only real problem we have with people asking when part 5 or 6 or when the next animatic is going to be out, is that we don't know when it's going to be finished. So we can't give anyone an answer.
Making animatics take time, and we don't know exactly how long it's going to take to finish each one, sometimes things like computers act up and we're pushed back a day. Plus we don't spend all our time on the animatics, we have lives outside of this.
So yes, sometimes the repetitive questions are annoying, but sometimes they also remind us that we haven't worked on it in a while and should get back to it.
In a way, it is both annoying, motivating and pressuring. (Really just depends on what type of mood we are in when we read them). (Might be different for other people too).

But I decided to keep it mainly because of AJ. Watching someone fall to their death and hanging there was probably enough to get some people annoyed if I didn't have one. We do have young viewers looking at these after all.

Wow this animatic just made my whole year, this really captures the image I had of Dantes both while reading the book and hearing the musical.
Rainbow's fur has lost almost all of it color and her wings now look so tattered and sickly, I mean she looks just like a fallen angel which is exactly what Edmond compares himself to in the end of the book, but this animatic just makes it even better with how bitter and how big the lust for revenge and making them pay is.

Thinking the whole world is just one big greedy, selfish trash! And that's the end of why he's so pissed off.. You, the creator of this lovely animatic, probably knows that, but the people who didn't.. You're welcome

Actually… Rainbow has found out that Rarity has sent him to jail to hide his secrets, Applejack sent him to take his job, and Twilight sent him to jail to take his wife. He's mad because they took nine years of his life, his lover, and his job. =/ This is him plotting revenge. But yes, that's one of the reasons he's upset.

Correction. It was 12 years, and i think 5 years sailing around the world after he escaped. And not only did Count Monsparkle marry Mercedes, but had a child, who is 16 at the time he found out.
If you read the book, you can actually see how dark he became as he found out that not only his wife was taken, but even they had a child, his job was taken, his father has died, and all of his enemies became people that were blessed. And in all those years, he was in prison, every single day passed like it wasn't there, and his only friend in that prison, died too.
That seems to be a good enough reason to go for vengance.

I got my friend to watch (And subsequently buy) The Count of Monte Cristo film because of this series. Now it's his favorite movie! We also both bought the musical soundtrack and listen to it often. The thing about a high quality series like this is that it garners fandom without even trying. Thanks for all your guys' work Ink Potts! This is truly a fan series to remember and treasure!

In the actual story, Mercedes' (who Fluttershy is portraying) punishment is learning the truth, what happened to her first love Edmond Dantes and the role the man she married played in it, before killing him. Because of the small piece of humanity that still loves her, he never directly tries to harm or plot against her. So good observation, you hit the nail on the head.

What the heck happened to Edmund Dantes? And why is he suddenly against fluttershy? This was creepy and sad. I loved it!
Well at this point in the musical Dante has escaped from that prison and discovers riches on the Island of Monte Cristo (hence where his title comes from). He returns home under that guise and discovers why he was sent to prison (thanks to a few allies) and believes Mercedes had betrayed him too because she married Twilight's char.
Rainbow Dantes thinks Fluttershy betrayed their promise because she didn't know that Twilight tricked her into thinking she was dead.
