- After El Chalten, Chris and I road tripped up North to Frey after a 4 day stop to sport climb at Piedra Parada. We spent 3 days in Frey climbing classics, eating pizza, and sippin Mate at the Refugio while enjoying one of the most beautiful alpine settings in the world. Here is a snapshot of day 1.
Frey is just outside of Bariloche, Argentina for all those wondering. The routes we climbed were Objetivo Luna on Cohete Lunar, Imaginate on Campanile Esloveno, Lost Fingers on Aguja Frey and Jim’s Dihedral on Aguja Frey. The date was March 24, 2022.
I don’t climb and won’t ever do so, but your videos let non climbers like me enjoy your experiences. Thanks for the well done and always high def beautiful videos.
Yet again, a simple days cragging...in reality, alpinism of a high grade.
Truly grande in scale and effort.
Well done...Again, tyler.Great video.

This is like one of the best things I have ever watched.
Sitting here working graveyard shift as a security guard.... luckily you have been able to pump me up and think about what’s really important in life on the cursed earth..... climbing and pizza! Great work you all, keep going up and up! 🐺👍💪🍀
Hands down the best climbing channel on TH-cam.
Yessssss the pizza beta is key for the ultimate bougie alpine cragging experience. Glad I raved about how wonderful this place was enough to get you guys to go 😂

That looks so beautiful
Ahhh this is so good!
This is absolutely awe inspiring! 1 year under my belt rock climbing, terrified of heights but continue to work away at it safely and cautiously but stoked the whole time! This is pure motivation 👌
had no idea there was so much cragging available there (when t weathers good!) enjoyable vid man
Awesome place!!
Cool stuff!
i dont know if i could trust other peoples anchors thats been there for a while lol. You guys make climbing look so easy!
I’m 48, out of shape, with a somewhat wonky left shoulder….and these vids of Tyler’s still make me want to try this sport so bad..
Start easy. I've climbed with 50's, 60's and a few 70 year olds, most of which outclimbed me. Technique means a lot in rock climbing.
I started in 1973, still going at 67. It's mostly mental, approach as emotion control, climbing technique, and unlocking the puzzle in the easiest way. You will go a long way in the grades before your physicality gets truly involved.
@@randydewees7338 Thanks for the response, I’d really like to give it a go!
@@cameronwinters5179 Do you have climbing areas nearby? Most states have some crags, a few have ridiculous amounts of rock. The Gulf areas not so much - if I lived in Florida I'd miss climbing, but I'd be out on the water a lot!
13k subs, i dont think people understand how good his climbing and videos are, painfully under-rated. keep up the vids and enjoy the climb!
wow 😮
Epic!
nice video man
2 hours from the parking lot to the refugio frey? NUTS
Yo, dude. I love the videos. Do you ever fall. I climb all the time and falling is like a daily thing. Is it just camera work or are you just like insane at climbing😂
viva el frey
yo how are you so god damn fast thats insane
maaan that looks rad...!
any thoughts/comments on belaying straight from one bolt, using only a carabiner, at. 2:28 ??
those chicken-heads look just like Cochise Stronghold. epic.
I forgot this had an end to it while watching
Beautiful videos, are these full trad routes? Which guide book do you use? Cheers
esse mano sabe viver
What grade are you climbing most often when making these ascents? I’ve only done gym climbing and have made it to 5.10+ so I was just curious how that translated to these. Amazing video btw.
Grandissimo Tyler, love your videos! could you tell us what camera you're using to film all this beauty?
ah ma allora non sono solo ;-)
GoPro 7 black
Dude what do you do for work? I’d like some ideas to live this lifestyle!
What did you do to belay and film at the same time? I wasn’t able to see what you were using/doing
Hi guys, the climbing looks great. Where did you get topos from? Is it available online? Is there some easy climbing as well - up to 6a/5.9 ?
There's a beautiful climbing guide you can buy here in Argentina. Grades go from 5 to 8a, there's some sport climbing as well.
@@julianfernandez2125 Thank you! Whats the guide book title? Would be nice to get it in advance 😄.
Thak you so much 👍👍👍
